Rude!!! The owner is an extremely rude person. I drove from Ventura County to the location to buy 2 pounds of Halau Jubne, a Lebanese Dessert. I asked if she could separate them into two containers because I was taking them to two different families. She first said no so I said OK can you please give me two plastic containers and I will separate them into two. She got upset and said no we don’t do that because it defeats the purpose of selling 2 pounds. Which made no sense because I was still buying the 2 pounds. Then rudely and reluctantly she agreed to do it. We got to the cash register and the syrup, water and pistachio she provided for them were barely enough. I told her I would gladly pay to get more. She refused and told me no I don’t have enough because it’s a holiday. The amount she was providing was half the amount that Vrej Bakery Provides for 1 pound let alone for 2. Then I reminded her that I had called in advance and asked to be given extra pistachio and she had agreed. I again said I’m Happy to pay extra for it. She became extremely rude and said no go somewhere else and claimed that I was being very demanding even though I had asked her in an extremely polite manner. I told her that this isn’t the way you treat a customer and she said she had a good business and didn’t care. I also told her that it was unfortunate that we, as Armenians, had a bad reputation in being rude when running a businesses and we should be better. She then told me that Armenian’s always try to take advantage of her business. I don’t see how asking for a container that costs pennies and offering to pay extra for an amount of pistachio and syrup that should’ve been provided to begin with is taking advantage of her.Be very careful you could end up driving all the way here and encountering one of her...
Read moreMy go to place for cakes for over 10 years. Last time they made us a fun Roblox cake; I described it to her and emailed examples and, as usual, it looked like the samples, tasted fresh and delicious! I may be weird but their fondant tastes good so I eat that too. My son loved it and that made me happy. I've ordered many cakes from her and have never been disappointed. Their pastries are tasty too and they have a good variety which is great for last minute guests. They've always been very professional and pleasant. The place is clean and they also have candles which can be helpful for last minute. Pricing is reasonable and the cakes are good quality; our guests have always enjoyed them. The parking lot can get a little crazy cause the Salsa and Beer (cause their food is bomb) but you can usually find a spot or park...
Read moreI would put 0 if it was possible. I got pastry today and asked the lady if it was fresh from today and she said yes. However, my friend and I tried and it was spoiled to the point it smelled like vinegar and tasted weird. We thought it was one only, but it was another one too in the box. And the ekler was dry too. Do Not buy from here. I wasn't even provided a recept when I left and the lady charged me $6 more just because I was on the phone and didn't pay attention until much later that I realized it. That's not how you treat customers. it was my first time there and will be...
