McDonald's — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Long story short. Corporate gave me some cards to use at any participating location to be use at there Corporate stores or franchisees.

Ived never used them but I read the details and information and email before using one. I came to this location and before ordering I told them. Everything and I read everything the card. They took my order. As soon I pulled to the windows the young cashier had no idea what it was didn't even read the card. He called his immediately supervisor ot manager at the time, by the name of Letty/ Leticia. She didn't even read the card and said that they don't take those card at this location as they are franchise location own by Sanchez, and that they also own other location like the one off Eastern and olympic.

She kept telling me that that location on the card was were I was supposed to go to use the card. I tried explaining it to her that address on the card was actually the distribution/reimbursement facility or HQ. I even googled it but she arrogantly justified that even then this location was a franchisees. I then told her that the card actually states I can use it at any location.

I cancel the ordered.

I bought food for my gf and I at some other restaurants but I told our kid that I would get him McDonald's with or without the complimentary card.

I passed by the other location, own by Sanchez since it was on the way home, order the meal, show the card, the supervisor actually read the information on the card and gave me the meal.

This McDonald's the coffee here on Whittier and Spence is a dollar 42 senior can you believe that no wonder when I walked in it was so empty before I come in and there'd be your elderly all together on one table talking enjoying their sweet bread your tamales but most of all McDonald's coffee I don't even know if they give refills anymore but I know one thing I won't be getting coffee from this McDonald's there's other McDonald's I've gone to a McDonald's where they give free refills others they charge $0.50 a refill but you know what this is reality things are changing and it's scary cuz there's a lot of Elders out there that don't have nowhere to go but they'd always enjoy McDonald's coffee senior price free refill sweet bread tamales and good company so long McDonald's you should be...

I loved the upgraded modifications that the McDonald's on Whittier blvd and Spence had. They were slightly busy, and they unfortunately messed up our order. They accidentally forgot all of our hashbrowns, and due to the fact I'm type 2 diabetic (if I eat only the egg and sausage plus 1/2 of the hashbrown my numbers are good) I requested an Unsweetened iced coffee. They gave me a sweetened coffee, I also over heard an uber driver telling employees that they messed up his order as well. I have always loved my local McDonald's, never till today have had a negative experience. I understand that things don't always go as planned and once I brought this up to the gals at the register, they humbly apologized, and fixed our order. This has no way disencourage me...
