Terrible service | Dirty dining room | No drink refills. Overall, the McMarro franchise does a terrible job representing the McDonald's brand. They seem to prioritize app orders, delivery/take-out, and drive-thru and have completely forgotten that there are still dine-in customers to serve. They make us order from kiosks, wait a long time to receive our food, and expect us to eat in a dirty, cluttered dining room.
This location, like every McMarro franchise McDonald's I've been to, has VERY LOW STANDARDS for customer service, particularly for dine-in customers. They don't staff the restaurant sufficiently to handle operations, resulting in long wait times to receive orders, little attention paid to cleaning the dining room and restrooms, and difficulty for customers in finding a staff member to assist them with questions or issues.
Management at this location doesn't understand that when customers order at a kiosk and place a number on their table, they're expecting someone to bring the order to their table. Instead, a staff member just calls out the number, leaves the order on the counter, and walks away.
Cleaning tables and floors and emptying trash bins seems to be their lowest priority. I've come in when there are no customers, and still, they don't seem to have time to do any cleaning (or just don't think it's important). All of their restaurants have "Wet Floor" pylons permanently placed throughout the dining room, regardless of how many hours ago they last mopped the floor. These interfere with customers' ability to navigate through aisles and around tables, kiosks, and other customers. The pylons also make it more difficult for people with strollers, wheelchairs, canes, or crutches to safely move around (and it wouldn't surprise me if leaving these pylons in the way at all times was a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act). Not that aesthetics is anywhere on their list of concerns, but pylons (as well as mops, brooms, and dustpans) all over the restaurant is pretty unsightly, too.
McMarro restaurants no longer offer free soft drink refills, and theirs are the ONLY fast food restaurants (McDonald's or otherwise) I've been to that have made this change.
Visiting any one of McMarro's McDonald's is almost always a...
Read moreFirst off I want to state that the manager Zonia and her crew handled the lunch rush well but I have to point out the new and ridiculous changes that have sunk what was once a cheap, quick, fast food spot into the bottom of the barrel pick. McDonald's has now started charging for their bags, not just the handle bags but every bag. If you order a drive-thru or curb side pick up, they charge for the bag automatically. If you walk up for pick up or order at the register, you are asked if you want a bag for 10 cents. Yes, it's a small amount, but it's the principle of literally nickel and diming us for everything, raising the prices for a simple meal that was recently 5$ now into 16$. Zonia explained it was because southern California passed a bill causing it, but no other fast food place around here like the Wendy's next door is charging for bags.
I didn't order a bag on my mobile order, so she tried to hand me 6 items while dropping half the fries, she doesn't have gloves on and that wouldn't be a problem since she could have washed her hands but she was jumping from the register to directly holding our food charging people 10 cents. If she was holding a bag of our food, it wouldn't be a problem, but since it's loose food, it's a health violation.
Since she keeps having to charge people 10 cents it's slowing down the register and a simple group of 3 turned into 12 people waiting for food and having to jump into another line again for a bag.
It's ridiculous that a company will cut its workers and then twist a bill meant to regulate the company into everyone else has to work more and pay more to get...
Read moreI have been to this macdonalds for YEARS! And just so recently everytime i go after 7:30 to get what i always get (its only night time because i have gotten food earlier and it was perfect) chicken nuggets with fries. They atleast almost literally ALWAYS have to have 2 nuggets attached with uncooked, oily, cold, pink sludge in between them. Its disgusting and ruins my meal everytime. I have never had this experience at any other macdonalds ever. Also why did they get rid of the playplace? The only bit of physical fun the kids can have while adults eat. Me and my boyfriend went to eat there (it was the afternoon so the food wasnt uncooked and disgusting) and we saw little kids kicking, scratching, and hitting the walls of what used to be the play place! The kids are clearly bored and now all they have is a empty, grey, cold (like their food), Room. All they had in their except for literal void, was tables and chairs that look like the cheap plastic ones that they have at party rental places in the deepths of the ghetto! Up your games guys. But to the morning and afternoon staff. You guys are fantastic. Keep up...
