Mr. Furley's Bar — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Just went in for a drink and bar bites. They have great options and great prices!! It was my friends birthday and they gave up a stand with a number so that if you order food they'd know where to delivery it. We're at the bar talking and I looked up and asked where did our numbers go? No food was brought out to us so was it taken by a staff member. A gentleman assisted us and we showed him our receipts he said he'd take care of it. Cool. The bartender who assisted both of us asked if we paid. I looked at her dumbfounded, you literally just took my order, close my tab and I tipped you. The service was bad but the worse part is, I enjoyed my food 🙄🙄. We had mozzarella cheese sticks, pepperoni pizza and nachos so yummy. I may come back but I'd like better service! Holding on to my receipt and wait until I get everything...

I came in on 12/12/22 and decided to grab a late night bite. I've been coming here off and on since it was Mad Bull Tavern. The drinks were on par, per usual, however the bar burger was exceptional. It was quite easily one of the best burgers I had all year. The meat was great quality and was cooked to perfection. It had just enough seasoning and was unbelievably juicy. It exceeded my expectations so much so that I asked to shake the chef's hand. After speaking with the manager, Nate, I was able to speak with Sylvester (Sly) about his basic yet marvelous food. There was nothing fancy about it just a damn good burger. I've eaten at some of the best restaurants in LA and will say that I was impressed and will be ordering this item off of their menu again. Steve and Joe literally are the greatest. They are so attentive making sure everyone is having a good time. They do this by making sure your glass is full, if you're hungry they have great variety of food. Food is expedited rapidly which was impressive. They have at least 4 screens to watch sports on. Good music. A pool table and sarts. A fun photo op in the corner. On our last visit we had a great time. Loved the drinks, the food and the service. We went last week and someone caught their attention they both observed until they were sure everything was ok. I rarely see many bartenders with that level of awareness despite a busy night.
