I ordered an original deep dish for my autistic grandbabies and they loved it. Also ordered another deep dish original with ½ with anchovies, mushrooms, garlic, basil, olives, and the other ½ with chunks of tomato, cheese, pepperoni and jalapeùos, also Mango Sweet Habanero wings with a side of ranch - everything was a hit. The pizza brought childhood memories from the late 80s' - Numero Uno was in Marina Del Rey on Washington Blvd only a few step from the beach; right on the first structure bottom floor right hand side corner when facing the water. This family-friendly restaurant was my family's stop and go after a full day of fun under the sun. I sent pics to my brother and parents because they always remember theit pizza. I will be returning again since now I live a few blocks from it. I found it on one of my walks and brough sweet memories.

To the public and no offense but Pizza Hut it doesnt how much they advertise is over rated. After the Numero Uno closed in Marina Del Rey I just couldn't eat Pizza Hut pan crust pizza. I found it boring, flavorless crust and never satisfying and certainly nowhere near even close to the original thick crust flavor of 'Numero Uno'. Numero Uno is really and always has been the Numero Uno Pizza place in my book and it did originated in Southern California here in Northridge, CA - everyone must give tgis place a try I will guatantee you no better deep dish thick crust like Numero Uno. Something is really special about their thick crust.

As for me was bon appetite. And I should have ordered their antipasto because that salad was a hit when I was young.

P.s. if you like more savory pizza...

Numero Uno Pizza has become my go-to place for mouthwatering deep-dish pizza and delectable Fettuccine Alfredo. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a delightful dining experience.

Their deep-dish pizza is truly something special. The combination of gooey cheese, savory pepperoni, and perfectly cooked mushrooms creates a flavor explosion with every bite. The crust is thick, yet perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside. It's a pizza lover's dream come true.

But that's not all. The fettuccine Alfredo at Numero Uno is nothing short of incredible. The pasta is cooked to perfection, and the Alfredo sauce is rich, creamy, and flawlessly seasoned. Each bite is a creamy, indulgent delight that leaves you craving for more.

Beyond the amazing food, the service at Numero Uno Pizza is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to cater to your needs. They make you feel like a valued guest and create a welcoming environment that enhances the overall dining experience.

Whether you're a pizza aficionado or an Alfredo enthusiast, Numero Uno Pizza is a must-visit. The quality and taste of their deep-dish pizza and Fettuccine Alfredo are truly exceptional. Treat yourself to a dining experience that will satisfy your cravings and leave you wanting to come back for more. Trust me, you won't be...

We've never been here before the waiter knew since he asked. We were told nothing just to "ask if you have any questions." We ordered different items to see what they have to offer. We got our food in a timely manner. Got also brought some kind of toast that we didn't order. Nothing was said to us so we weren't sure of they dropped it off at the wrong table. My daughter asked and didn't get an answer. So we tried it.... literally it was toast. Nothing fancy. Tasted like toasted buns. Then we got some of the other food. Fries were good. Chicken strips just like everywhere else with the cheap, not sure it's chicken, chicken strip. Pizza came in deep dish when we ordered original, which on the menu states it's thin crust. The dough was sweet tasting. I could barely get one slice down! It was not good. After we were clearly done and the waiter asked if we needed any boxes. We said no and he walked away never to return. We finally got up and went to the counter to pay. I saw the same waiter go to another table and tell them their total. So I was wondering why they never brought a bill to us. Once at the counter he just gave me our total. Strange, how do I know what I was charged and if it was correct. I even pulled the bill from the stack they put them in to look. No bread was charged so I honestly have no idea how we got it. Needless to say, I...

Authentic Chicago-style pizza options in Southern California are very limited and what you’ll find at Numero Uno as more of a similar salute that’s tasty enough on it’s own terms but maybe not as close as you want if you’re familiar with what you can get in Chicago. I stopped by for a solo dinner with some extra time on my hands and ordered a small“original thick crust” which they describe as Sicilian and, in my experience is a little closer to a Detroit style pizza. (Look it up…it’s a thing.) The crust has a certain sweetness to it and it’s a bit more bread-like than the butter/biscuit-like crust you’ll find in Chicago. But it definitely tasted good and was not simply a regular pizza crust dough that they shaped into a deep dish. Also, unlike Chicago pizza the cheese is cooked on top (which won’t sound crazy to you if you’re not experienced with real Chicago pizza, as that’s how every other pizza is made, and when they brought it to me it was more ‘melted’ than cooked. (I like my pizza was little brown spots on it) So I sent it back to cook a little more, forgetting that normally with a Chicago style pizza, the cheese wouldn’t be on top anyway. Despite it being a few steps from authentic I still tasted good and I would get it again. Not for the future: A small was also too large for little old me.

Visited this place for dinner with the family on a Saturday evening, and it was basically empty. We were greeted right away and told to choose any table. We waited about 5 minutes, and the young lady brought over menus and took our drink order. She messed up on my wife's drink, but my wife refused to ask for her unsweet tea(she got a sweet tea instead). We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza New York style and a medium piza with the works. We also got some cheesy garlic bread and an uno caesar salad. The pizzas, cheesy garlic bread, and salad were all great. The salad was a good portion, and the ingredients were fresh. The only issue I experienced was that the lady attending to us never really returned to ask if we wanted refills or to bring the check. Parking, as far as I saw, was street parking. There is some parking in the back of the establishment, through the alleyway, but I didn't see spaces pertaining to the restaurant itself. Overall the food is good service could be better, but we will be returning again.
