I've eaten at this Panda Express four separate times. Their food is like every other Panda except somehow their prices seem higher. Normally, their service is fine, but tonight was awful. They didn't have enough people on the line, orders were backing up, food was not getting put into boxes, the manager actually walked away even though three people were trying to run the food line and register while the line was almost out the door. Our food was incomplete; we were waiting on two items the needed to replenish. When it was ready, the server started filling boxes behind ours before us until I said something. When we got to the register the cashier was clearly frustrated. After I paid and we went to our table, we opened our boxes to see that we were still missing food. At this point, the line was still to the door and when I went up to get our missing food, the cashier was snippy with me. The manager finally came out, but the damage was already done. Frustrated customers in line started speaking their frustrations. There were no apologies. Seriously frustrating and I think I'm going to drive further to go to my previous...

A couple major downsides: it's in the same (tiny) parking lot as a drive thru starbucks, so parking is challenging and you may come out to someone double parked behind you. Second, and more a slight against the Panda itself is that they a) lock their (indoor!) restrooms b) reserve one of the restrooms for staff (why?) and c) have no signs anywhere indicating that you need a key to get into the restroom or that one is unavailable, so I sat for 10 minutes checking them until someone noticed and told me. I pointed out that they should probably add some since no one would know, and the staff seemed completely indifferent to the...
Read moreSo I live in Sylmar, and more than once I’ve been to this location. Not always bad, but often around 9:40pm and 9:45pm that I’ve have arrived there, busy or not, they lag to attend you. As if purposely wasting time. They close at 10pm on weekdays, by the way. Once they approach you they right away tell you that the food you see is the only left they’re serving. As if the chef walked out. Mind you he is standing behind the server and the trays of food to serve are all pretty empty. My question is do you stop serving customers at 9:40pm? Because I thought we stopped being served at 10pm...
