I called this location at 8:39pm because the location in Northridge was closing so they couldnt take my order. This location closes at 9:30 but i was told by Vanch that "i couldnt place an order because they have 7 orders to do he said last order is at 8:45 then he said sorry at 8:40 " & i told him so you cant take my order its literally 8:40 you guys close at 9:30? & he responded with "we close at 9:00 and 30 mins to clean". Which doesnt make any sence! They should really just put that they close at 9 then?? This is a very nice place, A little bit hidden in a corner shopping center but once I was introduce to this spot I have really enjoyed visiting a few times since. The staff is very nice and polite helping you get to know their items more and answer any questions you might have of things you are not sure what to get since most of the items on the menu are armenian bakery type of pastries. Perashki and Ponchik are my favorite items, the Perashki with meat more so. Note, there is a minimum amount for when you use a credit card/ATM as payment. Love the pastries here! It was my fiance that introduced me to this bakery. He had ordered custard filled ponchiks that are to die for. The pastry was super light for being fried! On top of that, I have food allergies and was able to eat them with no digestive problems! Even better! One of my other favorites are the potato ponchiks. Again, I was able to have them so once I learned this, we ordered other items! Their beef empanadas are fantastic, too. A light and crispy crust with a delicious beef filling.
