Upon arrival in Valley Glen, the best way to unwind after your trip is to kick back in a pretty outdoor space and get some fresh air. Valley Glen Community Park is the perfect place to do this. On site, you’ll find plenty of open green space to relax in the sun. If you have children with you, they’ll love the play area that includes a sandbox, swings and slides. There are picnic areas scattered around and you can stretch your legs on the walking trail that passes through areas scattered with mature maple and sycamore trees. A baseball field is also on site.

Valley Glen is our local park. It’s a few minutes from our house so when we need a little fresh air. My little monster loves the swing and kids play area. As a parent, I love the fact that it’s gated and my kids can’t run away when I turn my head. We like to take a walks around the park. It’s not too big so we’re never too far from the car. If you need a place to wind down that’s family friendly don’t hesitate to swing by.

Great place for kids and dogs. However, it is just a basic park. It did have a lot of grass, sturdy tables, and I dirt path that winds through the park. The path is great for getting your steps in. There's a steady stream of people with their dogs utilizing the grass and folks on the path. It's a nice quiet neighborhood. Parking is on the street.

There's something for everyone at this park. There's a play area for kids. There's a track for runners and walkers. There are trees to climb. There are folks with their dogs. There are old men playing backgammon. There are young couples snuggling. There are benches for book readers. You name it. It's nice to see all local people enjoying their tucked away (practically) private park. Come here on a nice night, after work, and you'll see all these folks I mention. It was landscaped a couple of years ago and they did such a nice job....

I love my park!! Friendly, clean, well kept. One BIG PROBLEM! SPRINKLERS are misdirected causing flooding in the dirt path around the park. This is a pertinent thing for SAFETY reasons. The elderly, children, and runners must avoid these large dangerous and slippery obstacles to often when a simple DIRECTIONAL Sprinkler fix is all that is required. Yes, I can try it, but I'll wait for the proper authorities to take a few minutes, look At the puddles and direct the...
