I went for lunch as I had a craving for butter chicken that just would not be denied. First, they did not offer any lunch specials ... which I thought was a bit odd, but I didn't allow that to deter me. I ordered butter chicken at a little less than $16 ... I was then informed that it did not come with Naan or rice or anything ... so I asked for plain white rice and a glass of water. The water was served at room temperature (which i also didnt like). When the food was delivered, I noticed the butter chicken seemed to be a small portion for the price ... but I was still so excited to try. So I took a bite ... and it was okay ... not anything spectacular. I was actually more impressed with the plain white rice. Don't get me wrong ... it was fine ... but the taste did not justify the cost. Once I got the check ... and saw that the plain white rice cost an additional $3.50, I knew I probably...
Read moreReason for visiting: came for a going away lunch for e of our coworkers Date/time of visit: Wednesday, May 1st, 2019. Lunch time, around 12:00 PM Pacific Parking: can be found on the street or in the small lot connected to the restaurant on the side Party size: 12-15 people Environment/ambience: was not crowded. They put together a few tables for us. No TVs around so not a place for catching a game or an event. Restroom was clean as well. No wait for a table since we called ahead for reservations but I don't think it'd be an issue without reservations; there were a few empty tables. Service: service was good. Food was brought out pretty quickly for a party our size. Food: I had the Chicken Tikka masala, spicy with garlic naan. It was pretty good; I'm not a big fan of Indian food but the Chicken Tikka masala was pretty good. Garlic naan was good too,...

For $10 a dish, the owner can afford to hire better and more than just one server to get the order right. The ambience is typically in poor taste with a light up unlit picture of a Buddha head in a very non vegetarian place. The server is overworked thus short and not very customer friendly. Cannot get the order straight. Forgot to order the Boneless chicken biryani for us. No apologies made. Brought it after the rest of the food was done with. The Mexican busboy was far helpful. Still waiting for a "good" Indian...
