If you’re not the kind of person to support a small business that discriminates against people with disabilities, then you should not go here.

I have a disability, and I had a hard time getting into the seat of the reclining chair. I was moving slowly, then I sat back and used the bottle behind me to support my back because I had recent back surgery. I was fidgeting with my seat cushion that I was sitting on, and the nail salon said I’m sorry, we are too uncomfortable to treat you because you look too uncomfortable and I said I’m very comfortable. I just had to get in the chair. I’m sorry we can’t treat you. You don’t look comfortable. No, you don’t wanna treat me because you discriminate. I told you I was comfortable Absolutely shameful Shameful. This so-called “nail salon” made it crystal clear that people with disabilities are not welcome. I reached out with a simple, reasonable request for accommodation, and instead of professionalism or basic human empathy, I was met with cold dismissal.

Discrimination isn’t just immoral—it’s illegal. But clearly, this place operates with zero concern for either. They’ve shown a complete lack of respect, compassion, and awareness. If you value dignity, inclusivity, or basic decency, stay far away from this place.

Their behavior was not just disappointing—it was disgraceful.

I’ve been going to Nunu at Piggy Nails for a few months now, and I honestly don’t know why I kept giving her chances. Her work has been completely inconsistent—sometimes she pulls off a decent set, but other times it’s so sloppy I leave embarrassed. I’ve considered not going back multiple times, but when she happens to do a good set, I’ve ignored my better judgment. That ends now.

This last set was the final straw. The white lines are crooked and uneven, the shaping is inconsistent, and my right thumbnail started lifting within 24 hours. It looks rushed, lazy, and unprofessional.

But what’s worse than the nails is Nunu’s attitude. She’s rude, cold, and dismissive every single time. Instead of asking you to place your hand under the UV light, she slaps your hand and points like you’re an inconvenience. If a finger is in her way while she’s working, she doesn’t ask you to move—she just pushes your hand aside without a word. It’s disrespectful and uncomfortable.

I’ve told her repeatedly not to peel off my nails with cuticle clippers and to stop skipping proper soak-offs. It’s painful and damaging, and she continues to do it anyway. I also made it very clear that I have sensitive cuticles and didn’t want the drill used on them. She insisted “just a little,” and now I’m bleeding and likely have an infection.

The worst part? Nunu is the owner and the only nail tech at Piggy Nails. So there’s no one else to hold her accountable. The entire experience was careless, painful, and downright disrespectful. I will never return, and I’ll be making sure others know exactly what kind of...

Nunu, Kevin & the entire staff are PHENOMENAL! My 5yo daughter & I went to get a mani/pedi & they treated us like Queens from the moment we walked it. It was the best service I received from a nail salon…. Hands down. They were pleasant, efficient, communicative, friendly & the place was extremely clean. They value customer service & do all they can to make sure your experience there is extraordinary…. No really, they go above & beyond!!! I’m so thrilled that I found this place so close to home. We will definitely be going back!

I want to add that usually, when I go to get my 5yo daughter’s nails done, other salons complain about her nails being too short. But not the staff at Piggy Nails. They did her nails, without a problem or concern. & they did them oh so well. They also gave her a relaxing foot massage that put her right to sleep!

Lastly, my daughter accidentally spilled ice cream on her leg & the floor. Without even having to ask, Nunu got a wet rag, cleaned my daughter’s leg & the floor. She wasn’t even annoyed or bothered, she did it with a smile which I appreciated.
