PDA Coffee — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I tried out PDA Coffee for the first time back in August, and I’ve become a regular ever since. Their latte is the BEST latte I’ve had (and trust me, I’ve had a LOT of lattes and tried out all the trendy places in LA!!) When I dream up in my head the perfect coffee flavor, it’s literally what I get from PDA coffee! Their Mexican mocha is also amazing. The flavors are so robust and well-rounded. Also, the staff is so lovely and warm. They really care about the community and cultivate a sense of belonging for all who walk in! I also love the colors they use inside their space, beautiful calming blues and fun pops of mustard yellow! This will be my favorite coffee shop for life. Highly recommend checking this place out. EDIT!!! I wanted to edit this review because they are very consistent and wonderful now!! I think they were probably just working out the kinks of being a new coffee shop. :) everyone who works there is a sweetie and I love their matchas!

OLD REVIEW: I am rating mostly as a note to the owners that I really wish this place was more reliable :( it says it’s supposed to be open at 6am but that’s never the case. Usually I’ll walk over crossing my fingers that it’s open but there have been several times I’ve come at 7, 8, even 10am today and they are still not open. This occurrence probably happens at least half of the time that I show up well past their “opening” time and they are not open. What a cute setup, this!

PDA Coffee—short for Public Display of Affection—is a tiny, stylish gem with just two seats inside and two out. It’s the small setup, but it feels gigantic with energy.

The two baristas were wonderful—friendly, engaging, and full of positive energy.

The cortado was fantastic: neat, strong, and a solid staple of the coffee quality. We also had a cinnamon-style roll that hit the spot.

Atmosphere! Chill music, fantastic coffee, and warm service—I’m digging this scene! I will return, even from Riverside County.
