Pico Seafood — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Come through Pacific Sole!!! This place was what we were craving I had the snapper and Whiting also. Only critique is all the fish they have is not on the menu for instance the ocean perch. And when we went to other places we found out this was a town favorite. I found them on Yelp and they great reviews. The man taking my order was a great help in suggesting fish to try. You can order your fish fried a little hard and hard. I would probably go a little hard the next time. The hushpuppies and Macaroni Salad was real good! Dinners come with lemon, hot sauce and Tartar and they were busy we only waited about 15 minutes for fresh fish and it was worth it! If you want a nice Fish Fry go for it! They also sell the fish by pound and desert pies pecans, and sweet potato and cake. There lunch special was extremely affordable and according to reviews a town favorite! Thank Ya Pico...

I checked out this place on Yelp before arriving to LA on a quick vacation. From the reviews and pictures I was expecting good fish, and with the name Louisiana - perfect seasoning. Here is my bullet pointed experience:

They only have 4 parking spaces and they are tight - be prepared! The place is small, one table for dining in and little dirty The prices are great for seafood The fish pieces are strips and the portion size is "almost enough" to get full The hushpuppies were the highlight - they are greasy, flavorful with a spicy kick - yum The hot sauce was watered down but you could still taste a bit of spice The jumbo shrimp were so so - they needed more seasoning The seafood overall was very fresh

Unfortunately, I can't say I have to return before leaving LA. It was cooked well but not very tasty - definitely...

I loved it. The prices are great for The food you get, even my two little girls said they'd want to drive all the way down from Perris to come back and eat. I had not been here since the late eighties it was good then and it is yet good. The only bad experience I can say I did like was I guess she is the owner was the plantation owner attitude she had toward her cook. To bottle him in front of customers was out if line. We stop picking cotton many years ago. If you have an issue then do it away from your customer, never talk down or invoke your authority as "da boss" I'm just saying.
