SECOND VISIT: on May 23, 2022 I was so hungry when I was on that area ... The I got back to that Popeyes restaurant again.
(1) I ordered Shrimp + Chicken Breast + Coleslaw + Small Soda and I had to pay over $19 ... and no explanation on the receipt.
I think the order taker doesn't know how to take order properly.
(2) The persons who works in the kitchen are very slow ( the waiting time was twice longer than IN & OUT BURGER.
(3) I didn't order French Fries, but I got one on the shrimp 🦐 (see on the picture)
(4) The price of Shrimp on the board was $2.99 .. but I paid $5.99 ( please.. see on the picture)
I don't go much to Popeyes restaurant.
Particularly this place at the corner of Roscoe and De Soto, had messed up my order.
I came when almost no body in the restaurant, and my order number was #2264.
I waited and waited and I ask the server: "where is my order"
The server told me : "Not coming yet"
Until the restaurant was became busy, and my order was not ready yet.
I asked the server again and again, but the answer was still same: "Not coming yet"
After the crowd was finished I asked again: "How long you make one Chicken Breast?"
And then the server started to find out where was my order.
And no body could find out....
Finally she found the order that was been on the counter for more than 30 minutes ... Meaning was already cold. ... but the order number was #2263.... ( That was my order with wrong order number).
Who do I have to blame ? The computer or the server ?
But who ever did mistake, the server must offer the new hot food, and not giving me the old cold food that already stayed on the counter for a while.

Read moreI ordered 12 piece of dark only chicken I got home and it had also chicken breast included. Call the store the next day the manager told me to bring the receipt I get there it's another manager questioning me a lot of questions. The main focus for this manager was who did I speak with on the phone What their name was etc. Very unprofessional staff treated me like I was a thief. I went home and grab the chicken and brought it all the way back so I can show them because the manager States if the receipt says dark only there's no way they made the mistake. Out of $35 plus I received $8 some change back for the refund they wanted To pay by peace instead of the whole order that was wrong To begin with. It wasn't so Much the money that bothered me I have been eating here for several years What bothered me the most was how they treated me like I was a thief that made up my story looking for a handout. If I was the supervisor I'd be firing everyone there The lack of customer service is insulting to the industry. If you make a mistake you fix it and move on to the next customer you don't sit there and argue in front of all these other customers. I also filed a grievance and never heard back from the region manager of course. Since they want to treat me like I'm some piece of trash I've never eaten there ever again I used to go there several times a week. I always got the same order too.
