You know what? I’m probably being petty but I suddenly remembered right now how rude the owner was to my friends and I back in 2015. Yes, I’m posting this 9 years later because what goes around comes around. Anyways, I used to be a student at Portola Middle School who would skate with my friends after school and then grab lunch at this place. My friends loved eating from Pozi’s. I usually would grab lunch at Chipotle just across the street and then bring my food to enjoy with my friends just outside of Pozi’s. The owner was incredibly rude and yelled at me for “bringing food from outside.” First of all, why is this grown man yelling at me, a 14 year old kid at that time? Second, there is a reason my friends and I were outside. What do you mean “no bringing food from outside”? It’s not like I was inside your restaurant eating food from Chipotle. And even if I was, all my friends were eating from Pozi’s. You weren’t losing any business by me eating food from outside you dummy. The owner really went OUTSIDE just to make a big deal about me eating Chipotle OUTSIDE his restaurant and then claims that I was “bringing food from outside.” The owner has some serious anger issues. I also vividly remember how he physically dragged a kid of my age along with his food out of the store for the same reason. Listen man I get it, your business your rules. But it just seems like the owner needs psychiatric help BELOW IS A SCREENSHOT TO PROVE IM NOT JUST MAKING THIS STORY UP. ACCORDING TO GOOGLE, I REALLY DID VISIT AROUND 9 YEARS AGO

Shameful treatment from this owner. I've been going to this restaurant since it was owned by Pozi, and since his daughter and son-in-law took it over (30+ years total). Today I ordered a wrap and specified "no onions". The cashier put the instructions on the check. When I bit into my wrap and found sliced red onions I took it back up to the counter. The owner got defensive and started to try and blame it on me! Did I ask for no salsa, he says. I wasn't referring to finely chopped onions in salsa, I was referring to the large slices of red onion, and beside that, I asked for "no onions". He escalates into refunding my money and telling me not to come back? UNBELIEVABLE. As I walked away I figured it out. He didn't want to make another wrap. He already lost money on the incorrectly made wrap and was too cheap to make it again. He'd rather lose a long-time customer. What a short-sighted fool.

A pandemic is surging uncontrollably, some restaurants are struggling to keep the fires burning. Some are dishing out limited items on the menu, some have cut down the prices some have jacked-up the prices. This restaurant fits into the latter. The prices were exorbitant given the current crisis. Understandable if they were dishing out delicious, scrumptious, enchanting or yum-yum food. The salad with blue-cheese was good, the garlicky fries was perfectly crafted but the main courses, especially the wraps whether lamb, beef or chicken with avocado was imperfect and monotonous. The location is also not great it’s nestled between a bridal shop and a sushi bar. The serving staff were friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to make the experience eventful.

Today I went to a place I love getting burgers from and I haven’t been there since before the pandemic. When we arrived we noticed loud music already so I figured that make it hard to hear taken orders but for them it’s like it doesn’t bother them. So we go to place our order one kids cheeseburger combo, and 2 regular pozi cheeseburger combos. As well as a cilantro aioli fries plus baklava. We waited over 20 minutes for them to bring our food out and notice a combo missing plus they gave us no drinks. We were gonna add a garlic dip and pita bread but when we learned they didn’t charge us for the combo and wanting to make us wait again we decided to get nothing else and leave!!! When we arrived home with our food the fries were soggy, the burger was sloppy, the baklava was old and dry (made me wanna gag even the chopped pistachios were old), one person without a combo now and forced to make something else for lunch. Really disappointing to think I use to love coming here with my family and now it will be the last time I ever go back!!! What’s worse is when we said we didn’t wanna buy the garlic spread (a gal brought it to us when we were leaving but than came after us to say we didn’t pay. We didn’t want it so idk why she insisted to try and give it to us knowing we gotta pay) or wait for another combo they didn’t charge us for cause there loud music. I can see why they messed our order up. Need to fix your service and cut the loud music out also maybe have fresh sweets and not sell...

The service was absolutely horrendous. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful. I walked in looking to purchase some french fries when I was greeted by an awful little man, that yelled at me and my friend for drinking starbucks on his premises. Though he blatantly disregarded us and his customer service was far from satisfactory; we figured we were hungry and though he was obnoxious and rude, we walked outside and sat down. Starbucks in hand! Leaving her drink outside with me, my friend walked back inside, she kindly asked for menu. At this point he proceeded to yell at her, going on and on about his insurance that doesn't cover outside drinks and how though we were outside we were still on "his premises" and that he was not willing to service us and said that we had to leave. My friend walked outside and explained what had happened. At this point I was just confused, this man refused paining customers, so I walk back in and nicely ask for some fries, he proceeds to yell at me calling me rude and explaining that I disobeyed his rule. He made it seem that his silly rule was some how the law, seems like someone has a napolean complex. I have officially boycotted Pozi's. Customer Service is crucial and he clearly lacks the ability to serve...
