As others have said, great selection of goods. A tad pricey (for example, a drink that is $2 at Von's will be $4 here.)

Re: the staff working there—I can't tell if they were genuinely nice or passive aggressive (leaned towards latter given we are in LA...).

She initially said "let me know if I can answer any questions" which is normal & expected. But once we started browsing more areas of the store she asked twice "anything particular you're looking for?" but did not sound genuine.

It felt more like "can you hurry up?" or "are you actually gonna buy anything?" It felt so much so that that I double-checked the time on my phone, and as I remembered, Google Maps showed an 8pm closing time & it was well before that.

Finally I was browsing the front area and she said "let me know when you are ready to check out" ... I did want to browse more, but since it was the 4th little "check-in" she did, I caved and said I could check out right...

Nahum is a great owner. He really values his customers and wants them to have a memorable experience. He makes every patron feel welcome, and enjoys making suggestions based on your preferences. I have never had a bad recommendation from Nahum.

Nahum is awesome at what he does, and his shop brings rare air to a city that is inundated with 7-Elevens and other characterless corner stores. Nahum has incredibly refined tastes, especially with beer, and only offers premium quality products which he can personally endorce. Which means that if you're looking for familiar and cheap, this is not your spot.

When I go to the Rose Market, I don't go because the shop is readily available, I go because I'm looking to treat myself to a new experience that I know will be worth...

I recently had the pleasure of trying their matcha latte, ice latte, and godmother sandwich, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality and flavor of all three items.

The matcha latte was perfectly balanced, with a rich and creamy flavor that was not too sweet or bitter. The ice latte was also delicious, with a smooth and refreshing taste. The godfather sandwich was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

In addition to their great food and drinks, this small boutique market also has a wide selection of beer, wine, and snacks. This makes it the perfect place to stop by for a quick bite to eat or to pick up a few items for a picnic...
