Salvamex Restaurant is hands down one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles. The pupusas are out of this world – perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with delicious, flavorful fillings. If you go, make sure it’s on a Tuesday, when they have their special pupusa deal. It’s the perfect excuse to indulge!

The curtido here is amazing – so fresh, tangy, and full of flavor. Honestly, it's the best curtido I've had anywhere in LA, no question. It complements the pupusas perfectly.

On top of the great food, the service is always exceptional. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome every time.

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal here! We had banana and papaya milkshakes, a fish taco, plantains with beans and cream, and pupusas. The food came out relatively fast and everything was delicious! The servers were all very friendly and kind.
