I had recently totaled my car in my very first real accident (after 6 years...) and had a lot of anxiety over buying a used car to replace the old one. I did a lot of research, like 7 hours consecutively in total, and found a 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid being sold here. I was really thorough and looked at reviews for Miracle Group on at least three different sites, and found them trustworthy enough to take a test drive.
I had done my research beforehand to know what to ask/look for, and after the test drive (which I was allowed to do solo for 10 mins) I asked some questions, including what the actual price I’d have to pay would be if I were to buy this car. Edgar was very straightforward and helpful with me. It was pretty much just the base cost+sales tax from my zip code+$400-500 ish fees for all the registration/title/etc. stuff. He also told me that the only concern with the hybrid is the expensive battery replacement, but that this one had been recently replaced (which I think I had seen on Carfax’s report) and that the smog check wouldn’t be due for another 2 years.
I slept on it while I also figured out other stuff but decided to get the car pretty much right after. Emma and Edgar helped me with my purchase, and they were both friendly and helpful (shoutout to Emma for her personal experience/recommendations for cheaper car insurance!)—I was kind of nervous because I had never purchased a car before, and this was such a great experience with them. Edgar is really prompt with communications, too! The only criticism is that I would have felt a little safer if Edgar had a mask on (Emma did) since this was during Omnicron.
I’ve been loving my car and recommend...
Read moreAlways. Inspect. Before. Buying. The Ford Escape Hybrid I was interested in and test drove seemed alright to me- 1-owner, clean title, low mileage, great, right? But I had some concerns with the brakes and the battery, because they didn’t feel great and the AVG MPG was low. I paid for my mechanic to come out and inspect it and sure enough, the battery was at 60% life, and both the ABS and airbag system was showing errors. These errors were wiped so that they only show in diagnostic mode. When I was with the seller, he was trying to put all my concerns to rest, saying there’s no problems, this is normal, etc. If I had bought this car, and got into a situation where I’m going freeway speeds and need to brake hard, potentially, the ABS would fail and I would skid into the car in front of me, where my airbags would conveniently NOT deploy. Not to mention the bad battery leading to bad MPG. I don’t understand the morals of these car dealers, where there could literally be fatal harm if I...
Read moreA dealer at Miracle Group LLC was very rude and even degrading towards us. On CarMax it was indicated that there was damage reported and recommended by CarMax, I had a professional car inspector come along to inspect those damages. Upon inspection, we noticed more damage than what was noted on the vehicle history. We asked the dealer, very kindly, if they would be able to fix those damages or if they were willing to negotiate. After we asked that question, he responded with “Do you think I work for free? I don’t do negotiations. I’m here to make money. If you want to buy it, buy it. If not, I don’t care.” Based on his unpleasant attitude, we decided to leave the dealership. Unfortunately, we did not get his name. Overall we did not have a positive experience and they had terrible customer service. I would suggest looking elsewhere who truly care about their customers and potential clients. I would give...
