Sharky's Woodfired Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This evening, was not expecting the surprise that met us. Picked up the order curbside, all went smoothly, and chatted with Manager Jose briefly at my car. Upon removing the meal items from the carry-out bag back at home, quickly realized that we were given the wrong take out order (same first name, hence the mix-up). All the items in the our "new" order looked delicious but still called the store to notify them (Jose took the call). Without hesitation, Jose asked where we lived and offered to bring the correct order directly to our home, and insisted we keep the first order, to boot. Within ten minutes of the call, Jose had arrived at our front gate, unnecessarily apologetic, meal in hand, and just incredibly accommodating.

Jose is just a delight all around and he unknowingly made our evening with his earnest and kind manner.

The absolute worst experience. I normally LOVE this location. One would think they would appreciate the business during this pandemic hysteria. I asked Jim for a 4oz tub of salsa for my order. He told me I can’t have salsa. I then asked about the smaller salsa tubs that have already been filled. Jim told me he could give me 3 tubs. I told Jim I needed 4 or 5. He said he couldn’t and then cut me off to answer the phone. A few minutes pass and my burrito is now ready. But it just sits there, next to Jim, as he is still taking a phone order. Apparently the phone order was more important than my order. Finally someone from the back came out and got my burrito to me. Do I want chips? NO! Not anymore, Jim will only give me 3 tubs, which is not enough. I probably will not be returning to this location again....

Great fresh food with a lot of options, either traditional or healthier. Decent sized seating area with salsa bar and large drink selection; soft drinks and several separate tea choices. Very accommodating for families with children. The parking lot is the one negative as it is quite small and not particularly roomy, not their fault though really. I'm not usually into rewards cards but this place is actually pretty generous as it seems after only a handful of visits I get $7 in credit to use. Very much prefer this to other chains of a...
