Amidst dozens of neighborhood sushi restaurants along Ventura in Studio City / Sherman Oaks this unassuming small space next to Jinky’s really stands out with incredible fish quality. The chef takes some creative steps to kick up some dishes with garnishes such as chili crisp on Toro sashimi that elevate the already fantastic bite. I adore this small family-run Chinese restaurant! Often, the Hot n Sour Soup will tell you all you need to know about a place, and theirs is outstanding. Every dish I've had here has been superb, from the Double Fantasy special, to the Triple Mongolian, the BBQ ribs, Monk's Feast all veggie plate, to the Chow Fun. The food items are fresh, the sauces are light and flavorful, and portions are generous. Service friendly and personable. Prices on a par with other Chinese places, but food quality much better here.
