Starbucks — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Update(1/31/2019): Still the worst Starbucks in existence.

I talked to the lady who’s in charge of this location and she blamed the long lines on the students and their complicated(custom) drinks, rather than recognizing that this location is understaffed and too small to deal with the larger student body (about 30,000 students). It’s only 8:30 AM and the line is to the door and only one register is open. Mobile ordering is also not offered here, yet the El Pollo Loco here can and the university club takes online orders. ——- How does this Starbucks have a 3.8? That's totally BS. This has to be the absolute worse Starbucks I've ever been to. Things to note... They add tax on top of the regular Starbucks prices. No B-day drinks for members or unlimited refills. There Starbucks card reader has been down for over a week now so no gift cards or app (this has happened several times). The employees know nothing about their products but love to chat about there personal lives with one another when the line is out the door. The worse part is you can't complain to anyone bc it's owned by...

Because I am a student and live on campus, I go here a lot. If it weren't for those things, I would not go here. On campus there are only two places to go for coffee now, and one of them closes at 7 and has weird hours, making Starbucks the prime place to go on campus because you know, other than Sundays, it will be open. The biggest downside is that because there aren't many places to get a hot cup of coffee on campus, this place gets PACKED and stays packed all day. The service is also relatively slow, making it quite an ordeal just to get a cup of coffee. I will say, the service and employees are always friendly and are happy to remake your drinks if there was a mistake. I repeat, friendliness is NOT the issue. I also am not a fan of the fact that, because it is associated with Barnes and Noble (our bookstore), that rewards cannot be redeemed here. I have wasted so many rewards due to them expiring because I just don't have the time to go off campus and redeem them. I wish this Starbucks would change that. Other than that, it does its job- it gets me...

*updated review They are never stock up on anything cream cheese, java chips, oatmeal...lol this place went from a solid 4 to a 1. The employee still got my drink wrong... oh yes, and after spelling out my name she still got it wrong. So far so good...the employees here were very nice. I was asking for a secret drink, the drink was bland but the employee who made it was very kind, and patient. The only downer is not a corporate so your gold card is useless at...
