The best sushi in the area. I have been driving by this place for a while. We (4) finally went last night. What a hidden gem, thanks to Carmen. We arrived in time for happy hour 5-7pm. Very extensive happy hour menu, spicy tuna roll, big fish burrito roll, calimari, and $15 big pitcher of beer. We also ordered off the main main menu, crunch roll, and california roll with lagustino (big shrimp that tastes like lobster). My husband & I decided to give The Big Fish Sushi a try, we really didn’t know what to expect as they have been open for only a month and we didn’t see a website so we didn’t have any background on it. We were over the moon with the service to begin with, she was not only polite and attentive but knew the menu very very well and gave superb suggestions. Was supper excited to try this place based upon reviews BUT honestly quite disappointed. Anytime sushi smells fishy, it’s never a good sign & our first order was pretty fishy. Then our waitress gave us a different special other than the special we ordered for our next sushi but she said how good it was so we decided to go with it only to be shocked by the price difference later on the bill (almost dbl for that item) Then we ordered a few rolls - all were small & over priced for their size!
