The Fifth — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I’m a regular at a lot of bars in the area and work in the industry. The door guy here is the most aggressive I’ve ever seen. Bartender bought me a shot at last call and while I tried to pay for it (unbeknownst to me that it had been bought for me) he was screaming at me to leave. I apologized (although I figure leaving without paying is a bigger snafu, but trying to be the bigger person here). I came back a week later and he told me how much it bothered him that I was there after last call. I explain that I hadn’t paid for my last drink and he kept saying “I get what you’re saying but that’s bullshit”. Dude seriously needs a training seminar in the industry he works in. Really great bar with a lounge with plenty of seating separate from. The bar and the pool table. The vibes are great in the day and night crowd. All the bartenders are great. Owners are very receptive to any issues. Usually always have a great time here especially in pool because I'm a pool player myself, great players.

Typically great atmosphere. Sometimes it does get very crowded due to some events or parties on weekends but still managed to have a good time.

Restrooms are pretty clean. Sometimes have a smell but usually gets resolved quickly.

Miranda is a total gem behind the bar at The Fifth in Valley Village. I ordered a margarita and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve had—super fresh and perfectly mixed. You can tell she knows what she’s doing and genuinely enjoys taking care of guests.

The bar itself has an awesome neighborhood vibe. Comfortable seating, great lighting, and a pool table in the back that adds a fun touch. It’s the kind of place you can chill with friends or just come solo and feel right at home.
