I’ve been coming to Yagumo Sushi for over 10 years, and it’s hands down one of my favorite sushi spots. The quality is always consistent, the fish is fresh, and the staff treats you like family.
Their lunch specials are truly amazing—generous portions, fresh ingredients, and great prices that make it easy to come back again and again. And if you’re a fan of hand rolls, you’ll love their incredible selection—there’s something for everyone.
But the real standout? The Ninja Hand Roll. It’s packed with flavor, perfectly crafted, and just hits differently. I’ve had it countless times, and it never gets old.
Another fun and unique touch is their Hand Roll Challenge—if you’re brave enough to try one of their spice level 10 rolls and finish it, you win a free t-shirt and a spot on their legendary Wall of Fame. The wall has hundreds of winners over the years, and it’s always cool to see how many people have taken on the heat.
Yagumo Sushi is a true local gem that’s earned its loyal following. If you haven’t been yet, you’re...
Read moreNice, small, and cozy. Been coming here for years. Ronny, the Indian sushi chef is pretty good. Sushi is good value, not too expensive. I recommend the Ninja roll, #6. Rainbow II cut roll and crab salad handroll are good too, spicy and/or nonspicy. You can customize almost any roll to be as spicy as you want; levels are 1-10, 10 being the spiciest. If you eat 2 #10 handrolls, you get a free t-shirt and/or spin of the wheel for prizes. They also have mochi for dessert and of course, a small selection of beer and sake. There are 2 small TVs for sports or shows. Karaoke can be on but I don't know which nights(s). Most of the time 80s music is on. Parking can be found in the lot or on the street. They also offer takeout, no...
Read moreRun so far away from this place you never see the place. We had the weirdest experience the waitresses (there were two) did not speak and had us wrote our order on a piece of paper.. Now it's one thing I get it to mark the Sushi you want but I literally had to write my teriyaki chicken order down on a paper. The food was disgusting and a waste of money and time. My piece of salmon was so small and thin O thought it was a joke. I am not sure what was worse the food or service.. It was awful on both ends to be honest.. Please save yourself 50.00 (for two) Drive down to Ventura Blvd. and find a real sushi spot with great service. I am so upset we came here .. Don't...
