McDonald's — Restaurant in Los Banos

This particular restaurant was the nadir of recent dining experiences. I don't expect much from fast food franchise restaurants; I expect even less from McDonald's. That said, I never expect any restaurant which serves food for humans to smell like a toilet inside. The entire dining floor was redolent of ammonia and urinal cakes. The restroom itself was even worse. I have found and used better-smelling gas station bathrooms in Bakersfield. Thankfully I didn't need a stall, as there was a guy shacked up in the only one available, watching violent videos at maximum volume on their phone the entire time. I was in the place 20 minutes and I never saw this person emerge. For all I know they're still there.

There were no servers at the registers; all transactions were required to be completed at a touch-screen panel. Eventually someone called my number and delivered my order in sheepish apology. I am ashamed to admit I actually gave this shameful excuse for sustenance to my children, both of whom had spent the entirety of Pacheco Pass hollering about how hungry they were. When we hit Santa Nella, they begged me to stop at McDonald's and I indulged them mainly because I was desperate for a bathroom stop. When they got what they ordered, each took a single bite and promptly flung their burger to the car's floor mats in disgust. Neither complained any further about hunger, and neither has expressed anything but contempt for...

I don't know how else to express my disgust for this store. From the time you drive up to the speaker until you have your food it is beyond crummy service.

You drive up, there is no acknowledgement of you being there for a few minutes.

When you get to the window be to get your food, be prepared to be treated like your money is more important to them than providing service for what you pay for.

The gal I dealt with gave me 1 drink, walked away, handed me the 2nd drink and said have a nice day.

So, there were 3 drinks and food, and when I had to interrupt her she got snotty with me. I finally got the food, and had to ask again for the 3rd drink.

So I get to a parking spot to check the food. The hash browns were thrown in the bag, one was in its side, the other was not even it's wrapper. The Sausage McMuffin with egg was warm at best, the sausage biscuit was hard, and the plain biscuit we got was hard too.

The only reason I didn't go in or call them is because I didn't want to deal with people who make it known that they hate their customers.

I also continuing on a trip north and didn't have time with their shenanigans.

Personally I think 1 star is too...

I am only putting a one star to qualify in making rating.. First of all I must give compliments to the young lady who just graduated Santa Nille High school.. she was very patient with hurried travelers and polite. Now to the other matter ... I walked into the men's restroom.. it was atrociously filthy/ nasty.. urine all on the floor in waves along with toilet paper, the toilet was covered with everything including with partially used toilet paper.. I walked out of the bacteria infested zone and got the attention of the manager, I told her the men's restroom is filthy and needs to be cleaned.. She sent a young employee to do the job.. What was troubling is that once the employee finished cleaning with the cleaning gear the toliet paper that was on the restroom floor and toilet, he walked out of the restroom and walked behind the cashier and cash register were the food and employees preparing orders were at instead of taking those items out of the entrence/ exit door to dispense those items in the outdoor...
