Taqueria Antojitos Mario — Restaurant in Los Fresnos

So, the food here was pretty food. We tried several dishes and they were all "good" but nothing to write home about. The only dish we all agreed was not so great was the chicken taquitos. They were dry and bland and just not appetizing. Everything else was OK. We sat at the drive-thru window for 20 minutes or so before being asked to move forward. No problem. It was at least 30 mins later a lady came out to ask me what I ordered. The frustration of this was heightened by the fact tht she knew about as much English as I know Spanish. Thankfully I had got a couple menus at the window and was able to point to all we had ordered and use my basic Spanish knowledge to get it sorted out. I was still worried tht my $60 order was about to be all wrong ( not including $20 tip I gave). Order was mostly right and we didn't want to wait to have them fix anything by that point. Be prepared to wait and have your Google translate ready to go if you plan on...

I didn't take pictures this time but just know, the food is good but the service is terrible. My coworkers have experienced the same kind of problems.

Unfortunately this isn't the first time I go and receive poor service. There's a young man who works there and I'm not saying fire him but maybe have him in the back where he doesn't have to deal with the customers. No smile. No conversation. Didn't want to deal with me directly. Had someone else come help me through the window. *I stopped going for lunch inside because of this young man. He's not approachable at all. Makes you a face when you ask for anything and sighs at you too.

For the handful of times I've gone to this place the service has been 1 star and the food is worth 3½ almost 4. But the attitude and faces they make you in person makes you lose your appetite. Only reason I keep going is because I can't find anything near my job that serves...

I've come to this this place many times before and it's been good but the past 2 times I've came it's been trash and I mean straight trash not worth the drive at all coming from HARLINGEN the customer service is bad I drive over 20 minutes to get there just to deal with snobby waitress staff then too wait an extra 25 at the drive through window for tacos makes no sense when they say 20 minutes for meal to be ready, bistek doesn't take over 50 min to cook it took an hr to get my tacos and even the restaurant being empty still trash attitude and service it took forever never again will I order or pay for services at this establishment again 2 out of 5 tacos were basically just flour tortillas with little to no bistek a waste of $65 in my opinion I don't recommend this...
