Doña María — Restaurant in Los Gatos

Excellent food! Horrible service! I called in to place an order and the employee, seemed to have issues hearing me. She made it a point to show her irritation by huffing and puffing in disdain whenever I would finish speaking. When we arrived to pick up our order we found that we were missing an entire dish. I was fine waiting, but lost my patience when employee proceeded to ask my mother if we had called wrong restaurant? Insinuating that is why our food was not ready. When I told her no that I had spoken to her (I did get her name over the phone) and had found it very unprofessional how she had handled the call, she stated the issue was with my phone. Irregardless of whether it was my phone or not, it is extremely unprofessional behavior and very demeaning the way she spoke to my mother and I. This is not how businesses should conduct themselves and this behavior should be corrected...

We like the food here and been here over last 5 years but the last 2 times, we got here first at 8:50 and they said you can t eat inside and tonight at 8:37 and again you can t eat inside . Why is restaurant which is what they want to be says open till 9 pm on the sign but they kick you out 20 min prior ??? And the place was bleached out stinking… we have been very disappointed! The staff said is the owner s decision . Well, then they should say they close at 8:30 not 9 pm.. that is very rude! They said to sit outside in the pitch dark and eat !! This restaurant is phenomenal. I eat a lot of Mexican food, I'm practically a Mexican food expert.. I eat at A lot of taquerias especially. And I love this restaurant because it's just So much nicer than plain old tacos and burritos. They have awesome enchiladas. They have a weight staff which I think is such a treat to sit down in a place like this and have weight service at the table. They also have awesome to go food and all the usual taqueria stuff.
