Just ordered food from them in the last hour. I ordered Won Ton Soup, broth and Won Tons only. I also ordered Mongolian Beef, mild, no peppers. And I ordered Shrimp Chow Mein. What did I get?........ Won Ton Soup with vegetables in the broth, and the Mongolian Beef was spicy. The Chow Mein was fine, amazing enough. The mistake was not done by the cooks. I seen the order slip after I got home. The person at the counter put the simple straight forward order in wrong.
The person at the front counter has very poor customer service skills. She’s a young woman, late teens to very early 20s. Long brunette straight hair, wearing round rimmed glasses. She was wearing a black shirt with the words, ’Gainesville Speedway’, on the shirt. When I walked in she was on her cellphone playing. She didn’t even acknowledge me until I was standing in front of her at the counter, and barely acknowledged me when she did. I gave her my order, and went and sat down to wait. She immediately went right back to playing on her cellphone. When the order was available, she gave it to me, again barely acknowledging me, and went right back to her cellphone.
The food there is good, but with this young woman at the front counter, the front counter...
Read moreCo worker recommend to come here since I always talk about hole in the wall spots in the town.First and foremost this spot is definitely cleaner and a bit fancier than the hole in the wall spots in Oakland. Second this place is definitely the most affordable in all of Los Gatos where average price for lunch is 18 dollars and higher. But I see why my co workers said this is a hole in the wall spot for Los Gatos. They cook to order so your food come out piping hot. Hot and sour soup is on point. And there was a good amount of bamboo shoot in my soup with mushrooms. They didn’t skimp on one of my favorite type of soup. My chow main wasn’t super oily, fried rice is good too, what I needed was was chilli oil,Sriracha and a tiny bit of sweet and sour sauce to bring it to my nostalgic taste that I grew up eating. Their spring roll was crispy on the outside and firm but soft inside.(missing sweet and sour dipping sauce). Overall it’s a great place and best bang for your buck when you need some...
Read moreWe really like this place. Food is always good, lemon chicken is my favorite - served in a way that shows the meal is an entire breast portion. (As opposed to other places where I get lumps of something, usually more deep fried breading than meat.) BBQ pork fried rice is a nice twist on the old classic - love that too. The fact that these guys deliver without charging an additional fee just makes it easy - thanks! (Oh, and the missing star has to do with the ambiance. Need to do something to warm the place up a bit. Strip mall aside, would be great to feel like it wasn't a fast...
