I went here 15 minutes before closing on a Friday night and asked for a White Mocha. Some places call it White Mocha, some places call it a Vanilla Mocha. I don't know much about coffee but give me either and I am happy. The kid was rude and said they don't have white mocha but he could make me a normal Mocha. He proceeded to ask how sweet I wanted my Mocha. well, I didn't even what a Mocha and I have never been asked that for a simple coffee and I can tell my lack of knowing what I myself wanted upset him. He started to make the coffee and I stood around not knowing how to pay. I saw a girl texting on her phone near the mounted iPad registers and asked her if i paid there. Her response was "I don't know, did you order a coffee?" I almost left here but I sucked up my pride and paid 5.50 for a 14 ounces of coffee, I am a man and they are just kids. I won't be going back...
Read moreOk let's just say I drive 17 mins just to get their mint mojito coffee. They have the option of getting it with almond milk which I do get with cream because it tastes so much better sweet and creamy. Also it doesn't alter the flavor even though it's not with regular milk. I love coffee but don't drink it everyday buy ever since I tried philz I can't help but think about it. Coffee quality and taste is way better than Starbucks and maybe a little bit better than Peet's. Prices are the same as Starbucks and Peet's. When you order a large you can't really taste the mint in the mojito but can taste a bit in the small. Still it doesn't matter it is freakin amazing!! Oh and the service is also great!! Also if you order ahead they make it right away when you get there(this is for iced coffees because they don't want the ice to melt) Well I over heard from one of...

Not the case any more. I miss being able to order directly from the barista, so your drink would be perfect. The experience here is more like being at Starbucks or Peet’s, rather than an experience of working with a barista to get your perfect cup of coffee.
This store needs a better system for accommodating bringing in your own mug. I checked in with the baristas 3 times when I left my mug with them and they still put it in a paper cup. The table set up for working on your laptop is disappointing. There aren’t a lot of options and you have to fight for a spot.
Overall Philz is now just like every other chain coffee shop - caring more about churning products rather than a bespoke...
