MAY 3, 2022 The W O R S T location I've ever had the displeasure to attempt in purchasing a meal. The way the attendant speaks into the order screen before the drive-up window is deplorable. This location is hardly near the "hood". And I am not that fluent in ebonics. The attendant spoke in such a manner, it took me 3 times to ask for her to repeat her statement until I gave up and drove to the window. I apologized to the woman for having trouble understanding her statement. I was then told in a rude manner that "they" were NOT accepting any orders due to the supply truck not arriving. The statement was a shock. Who would expect that ever happening. I repeated her in the form of a question. "Are you trying to tell me this location is out of everything"? She said "Unless you want chicken nuggets, we out"! All I could respond with was, "Wow!" and slowly pulled away. As I was exiting the drive-thru, I could see into the store. There were a couple of employees with their arms, and head resting on the patron tables appearing to be asleep. Shouldn't the on-duty manager have these employees doing something...anything??! Scrub the floors, clean the kitchen, the restroom, pull weeds. How could the General manager, or franchise owner have the inventory run out. Burger King corporate really needs to audit this location. I think Burger King has the best burger than any fast food service. But it seems that Corporate is allowing locations go to hell in a hand basket. Step it up Burger King. Your putting yourself out...
Read moreMy 10 year son had won three BK Gift Cards from a school competition. He really wanted to use them and enjoy his earned BK burgers. We never usually go BK. This was a good opportunity. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. Of course, two cards did not work when we were at the cashier point and the lady literally yelled at me. I am professor in an university and held myself together. I did not want to give my son a bad example by retaliating because I knew that there was something wrong with the refresh rate at the swipe point. Anyways, if things are not working, maybe help out the customer instead of assuming the person to be idiot. My wife had to intervene as the it was a bad situation with me struggling at cashier point and requested to see if the card works. It turned out that the casher did nor refresh or something was off at cashier end. The card still did not work. Whatever be the reason or outcome, there is no need to be rude. Good behavior and politeness should be fundamental for customer service. If you cannot do stressful job, do something else. BK has a social responsibility and not promote bad behavior. We all have bad days but should not pass it to customers. Needless to say we will never be back and wish the best for...

I don’t know what has happened to Brger King but the service and food quality has definitely taken a nose dive. 15 minutes waiting in line and finally get to the window to be told we just dropped your fish pull to the double doors and we will bring it out to you. Then when you finally get the food, the fish is barely warm and the onion rings are cold.
I worked at Burger King 40 years ago and we took pride. We had to put out a really good product timely. Not anymore. I guess Burger King through the pandemic figured out people would wait and wait and so now that the pandemic is over they don’t want to spend the money to properly staff their restaurants (I am talking multiple locations in Metairie and New Orleans have really declined). Burger King use to truly be the best fast food around but now all you get is long lines, poor food quality and staff that have horrible attitudes. What a shame. I don’t know when they stopped using secret shoppers to keep an eye on their business.
