Burger King — Restaurant in Louisiana

On our way from Texas to a conference in Birmingham and we needed a quick Burger King breakfast pick me up; WE GOT A LETDOWN! And let Me tell you why.  The service was spotty with having to ask for hashbrowns that were not bagged and hot, to having to wait for coffee that was lukewarm, and then we had to ask for our receipt. Shaking My Head! I didnt get a receipt to do a survey. My husband and I visited this location July 10th at around 3pm. We had ordered 2 bacon kings meals, 8 piece jalapeño cheddar bites and a chicken nugget kids meal. After pulling up to pay. The man working the window, who was dressed as a manager was unprofessional. He gave us our drinks and 1 bag of food. We only had a bacon king burger and 2 fries in it. Missing 1 burger, the cheddar bites, and the kids meal. After trying to tell him what all we were missing he was in too much of a hurry to just get us out and was even ignoring his coworkers that were trying to tell him we were missing stuff. So we pulled up (never got a receipt) Ashley came out with the other bacon king meal and the cheddar bites. We tried explaining that we still didn't have our daughters kids meal and she was FANTASTIC. The ONLY reason I decided to give this location 3 stars because the man they had at the window, didn't deserve a good review at all. Ashley deserves a raise. She made sure to get the rest of our order and even gave our daughter a gold crown which made her day. So thank you Ashley for your customer service skills! You're fantastic!! Don't let her go BK. Good people are hard to find and shes definitely worth every penny! Not sure if corproate will see this or not but just wanted to brag at how...

Just left here to grab a quick bite to eat. Thankfully, I had already ordered and eaten my food. I was told that I couldn’t get my whopper sandwich cut in half by the staffed manager, quote on quote “It’s against the health department’s policy, we haven’t cut sandwich’s at this location since Covid. If we get caught it’s a $5,000,00 fine.” However, 20mins later. A non-employee in filth walks in, instructed by the manager to go by the counter to go and get a cup for a free soda. Next, there’s another employee standing outside the facility putting out a nasty cigarette with his fingers. Then PROCEEDED TO WALK RIGHT BACK INTO THE RESTAURANT BEHIND THE COUNTER WITH THE FOOD BYPASSING THE RESTROOM TO WASH HIS HANDS. In addition, he was walking around the food preparation area with the unlit cigarette he had just put out in between his fingers. Then proceeded to put gloves on over his unwashed hands to fix customers food. But I get told I can’t have my sandwich cut because of the health department standards. Hypocrisy at its finest! The manager is super sassy and absolutely unethical!
