Casa La Vida — Restaurant in Louisiana

Have always loved this place. Food is great. But for the first time today was scolded and humiliated by the manager who I have known for years. Was there for Saints game, margaritas and intended to order late lunch. But, as I was cheering for the Saints the manager came and told me to bring it down a notch. Granted I am loud when watching the game. There were only two other customers in the bar area where I was and they were also listening to and cheering for the Saints. There were 4 patrons in the restaurant area. It’s open between the bar and restaurant and I was told “I can hear you in other room”. I was at same place, same table, same game last week with more patrons in bar area and restaurant but nothing was said and the manager was sitting with someone - a lady who was loudly throwing the F bomb along with calling out SOB at the other team and other expletives without a word being said, yet today I was called down in front of the other 2 patrons instead of coming to my table and privately talking to me about cheering to loudly. I was very disappointed and humiliated. We left without eating and don’t intend to go back. If you want to go and eat only.... great place to go. Just don’t intend to watch sports if you really get into it - definitely not a sports bar unless your certain...

My experience with this restaurant was 100% unpleasant. Me and three other co workers order to go, I placed the order over the phone, she repeated everything back to me as i had said to her. went to pick up the food and the guy (I'm amusing hes one of the managers, maybe owner) also read everything back to me to make sure i was picking up the right order......... when i was on the phone ordering the food the lady said it would be no more than 15 minutes so i ran an errand and once i got to the restaurant to pick up my food i waited another 20 minutes. As they placed the bags of food down in front of me they explained what it was... my mistake was actually looking inside, instead i waited until i got back to work. EVERY SINGLE ORDER WAS WRONG....not just forgetting to put sour cream on the side, i mean EVERYTHING WAS WRONG.....i asked for no onion and peppers add sour-cream sauce to the chicken and it was all onion no sauce... burritos were wrong, steaks were wrong... the hot sauce tasted old and the chips were stale... i have never in my life been so unhappy with a restaurant especially a...
