This location truly deserves 0 stars, and if I could give that rating I would. I placed an order online through the website, but never received a tracking link. I tried calling the store after about 40 minutes to see if they had my order. The store didn’t answer. We called about 15 times on 2 different phones and they never answered. Finally, we went to the store and they said that they had to deliver it through doordash and that it has already been picked up 10 minutes ago. 1: we were never told it would have to be delivered through doordash, nor did we receive any sort of confirmation that it was picked up through doordash. 2: they said there was nothing they could do because it was already picked up. So we drove back to our house to wait for it to be delivered. After waiting 20 minutes (the store isn’t far from where we live so it wouldn’t have taken that long) we called doordash customer support. The woman told me that the order was marked as picked up, but that there wasn’t a name, phone number, or anything that they could use to contact the dasher. I’m a doordash driver myself, this means that the store has marked it as picked up, not the dasher. So they gave MY order to a stranger who just walked in and said they were picking up an order. The manager was dressed poorly and seemed incoherent as well as the other employees. They also seemed to have very little regard for the situation.
I then got a text from a number saying that they were at the store waiting to pick up my order. So I called them. It was the dasher who was originally supposed to pick up my order and I explained what had happened. She had asked the employees multiple times to speak to her, and once they did she asked them what the deal was. They told her it had already been picked up and there wasn’t anything they could do. She then felt our pain and tried to get them to remake the order, so I was handed to an employee who took my order again and said that he would remake it. Online the store says it closes at 11:00 pm, at this point it was around 10:10 and I placed my order at 8:50. The dasher who I was on the phone with then told me that they were being very rude and disrespectful and were swearing in the restaurant and laughing about the situation. She then told me that they told her they were not going to remake the order because they close at 10:00. Then, if this isn’t already horrendous, they turned the inside lights off. Somehow, our wonderful dasher convinced the employees to remake the order. So now we are still waiting on our order to be delivered/made. Thank God for this wonderful lady who is helping us out and may she be blessed a thousand times for this, but as far as this location and these employees/managers I’m extremely disappointed in their behaviors, attitudes, and overall...
Read moreTHERE WAS FOREIGN PLASTIC IN MY CHEESE BREAD!!! I hate to do this because I do like Papa Johns and am a frequent customer. To be clear this review is from my order placed last night from my local store, not the chain itself, although when I called corporate they said to call my store after I told them I didn’t think that was a good idea. I’ve had multiple small issues like the wrong cut, food wasn’t cooked properly or they forgot an item or two I had paid for.. however last night I was chewing my piece of cheese bread and found a piece of PLASTIC BAKED INTO IT THAT I HAD BEEN CHEWING ON! Thankfully, I guess, I got the piece with plastic and my 3YEAR OLD SON did not because he probably wouldn’t have spit it out and choked on it. For all I know, he did eat a piece of plastic I’m unaware of because I was the last to eat and it was all thrown away after that I was so disgusted. I kept gagging thinking of what that was and where it came from. I’m very disappointed with this incident because I do love the pizza but the store and I have had problems in past so I’m not taken seriously and I know they’d only offer to give me a creditor another cheese bread or a large pizza maybe even.. but this time that’s not okay. It’s not okay to have foreign objects baked into your food and then treated as if it’s not a big deal. I just called the customer service line and told them what I just said and my answer is that “higher management” should call me within 24-48 hours. That I’m angry about also.. this is something serious that could’ve hurt my child and myself. I even took a picture just in case they didn’t believe me. It it appears it won’t matter because my issue isn’t being recognized right now. I have to wait for them to call me within 2 days where I may or not be able to answer the phone. What then? I can’t change stores because no one else would deliver to my house and I can’t carry out either. Read moreThis is the 3rd pizza I have ordered from Papa John's that was Luke warm at best. Although I always order extra cheese and pay for it, there is no extra cheese! The last 3 pizzas have had less of all ingredients than previously. So after three really crappy pizzas, I called them. There's a new manager who is putting proper portion control into effect. So there effectively IS NO such thing as extrac cheese, even if you pay for it! Every restaurant has an off day or evening. But the potion control policy will continue and the price doesn't drop at all. So all I can hope for from Papa John's is more crappy pizza. Frozen pizza is better than this. This is another example of corporate greed, and price gouging, or giving you much less product than you paid for. No more Papa...
