Worst place of business ever!!! Finally done with this place! Should've been done a long time ago, but ya know, the Pizza Hut commercials (nationally run!) tempt u for a pizza hut pizza and a good deal, plus they're right down the street. But it's never what u hope it'll be, an enjoyable evening of ordering in pizza. Instead it's a nightmare!
Every time I order from this place it's the most frustrating, disappointing, sometimes even infuriating experience! Just read all these reviews. You can see that it's like that consistently... every TIME for everyONE! I couldn't even relate my specific bad experiences like the other reviews because there's been too many! In fact, pretty much every experience has had something(s) go wrong. Suffice it to say that all the things mentioned in the other bad reviews are consistent with my experiences as well.
First of all the website for online ordering screws up. You cannot CALL this place and reach anyone. No one answers. You literally listen to pizza hut recordings for 45 minutes, the time period a customer should be RECEIVING their pizza! Sometimes while on hold, they'll pick up the phone and hang it back up again so I guess they don't have to listen to the phone alert (ridiculously rude!). I was determined one nite to reach them and tried for two hours, kept calling back and remaining on long hold times. They finally picked up at closing time and said they were closed. I knew they would do THAT! So I asked for the manager to complain about it and he could care less! He was rude and arrogant. When I asked him about contacting the owner, he proudly told me the name of some company that owns it, like he'd been asked that many times before, and very cocky said, "Would u like the number?" Smh. It's obvious he's secure in knowing nothing will get done!
If u ARE lucky enough to have them answer, u can't understand a word they say, they mumble inarticulately and act like you're bothering them. If u go TO the place, no one is interested in helping u THERE either, and the place is unsanitary as others have reported. Shamefully, I haven't even gotten to the FOOD yet!
The pizzas are dry and cold, often burnt like others have said. The orders are never right, never on time, never can be delivered cuz no delivery person, and they are ALWAYS ALWAYS out of some ingredient!! And I'm not talking like mushrooms, no, I'm talking like crust, dough, and cheese! Hello, it's a pizza place, how are u on several occasions out of the three necessary ingredients to MAKE a pizza!
Lastly, I even made an effort to contact Pizza Hut headquarters about this place to no avail. The national customer service phone number also keeps u on hold endlessly and runs a recording to make your complaints thru some website. Smh.
This place needs to somehow be made known to whoever's losing all the business they COULD have, or else just be shut down. In the meantime, save yourself the hassle and frustration and get pizza from somewhere else!!! (And not from the Pizza Hut on Sherwood Forest Blvd, it's...
Read moreFirst off, my rating for this particular PH location is a culmination of terrible experiences with PH. In fact, I swore off your product for several years because of the dissatisfaction. Yesterday, out of convenience, I decided to give PH a try and the ONLY thing PH exceeded was my level of disappointment. First, I downloaded the PH app while in traffic and placed my order...1 large pepperoni and 1 large cheese pizza...YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER!! When I arrived at the store at the time it was supposed to be ready (and was notified that it was ready via the app), the pizza was not ready. I was told, "it will be just a couple of minutes." This was at 5:11pm. I sat and watched the staff prepare other orders but never saw mine. The store clerk asked again for my name and replied, "just a few more minutes." Finally at 5:45 (keep in mind I orderd the pizza around 5pm) the store clerk decided to check some pizzas that had been sitting in the warmer for a while and concluded they were mine. I knew leaving that the product was gonna be less than quality, but after PH wasted my time, I had to deal with it.
The "Product" I don't know how PH remains in business. The quality of your product has dipped so much in 25+ years. I remember going to the older dine-in Pizza Hut restaurants and that was a pleasant experience. The product was never spectacular but at one time it was worthy of my business. Last night's "product" was dry, cold, and flavorless....all things pizza should not be. In fact after taking the first bite, my family opted for the frozen pizza in the freezer. That's correct, the frozen pizza was MUCH better.
Moving Forward:
As a business owner for over 25 years, my advice is that you close the place down and let go of all of the employees. They're not doing you much good as a work force and keeping the place open only leads them to falsely believe that what they do is worthy of money. PH as a corporation needs to stop spending money on advertising and spend money on R&D to develop a quality product and provide effective training for its employees. Perhaps in other parts of the country, the product is better, but if that's the case, that's PH Corporation's fault.

Read moreOrdered online, it said 25-30 min estimate for delivery. After placing order, it updated to 55-68 minutes. After 30 min from placing order, I got text saying it out for delivery. 50 minutes after text, still no pizza... 80 min from time of placing order. Called store multiple times with no luck anyone answering. I have given this place several opportunities but the service is just that bad... They truly do not care about customers. Delivery driver finally calls after 70 minutes from when it said it left out for delivery. I told driver I would pay for some of order but I would not pay for whole order bc of how late it was.... He said he would call store and even he couldn't get through. So he took pizza and left. Called store multiple times again but no answer. Pathetic. They are going to throw all that food away... I would have paid for part of it but do they really think we should pay full price with that kind of service. If you are reading this and you are the owner of this franchise, you need clean house over there. Pathetic and ridiculous customer service. I realize they are getting paid that much but they're had to be a way to get better qualified people.
9/26/20 Gave it another opportunity today... Ordered at 248pm with an 80 min eta. Got here at 528pm....really.. Asked if they would discount order since it left for delivery 1hr 10 min ago, he said "I don't know and handed me the bill to sign". A $70 order and I said, sorry not signing when I ordered nearly 3 hours ago. Ridiculous. Feel sorry for the driver bc you know I am not the only one complaining. Think I am done trying. It's ashame bc I used there other store near Perkins and siegen and got flawless service. Pizza was great and service was as it should be. I wonder how much this place has to throw away bc of lateness on orders.by the way, I live 0.9 miles away...
