I will start off by saying, I love CCās coffee. It is cleaner than Starbucks and it is local. I absolutely love that a local coffee chain that has been around since as long as I can remember can compete with the big chains. However, I need to raise a few issues that I have with this location.
First, I strongly disagree with the tip culture that has been instilled in the employees. You order, then pay, then they show you a window with different tip amount options. If you tip, they treat you well, if you do not, they get visibly angry and this is not a misunderstanding. They can see the amount and tell if you tip or not.
Second, as a non-every day customer, I would like to see the menu sometimes. They put an employee outside trying to mimic chick-fil-a, but there is no menu to look at nor one in their hand to show you. I had to correct my order at the window and was out the difference in what I paid. This location is busy, but not busy enough to warrant that. I have been here enough times to see the same guy being put out in the parking lot either in the

I had to ask her if she was taking orders. She took my order. They were out of the normal coffee cakes that I like. No problem, I asked the young lady what else did they have. She recommended a pound cake. I decided to try it. I asked could she scan my phone for points. She told me they could do it at the window. I pulled up to the window and was handed a really cold pound cake. I asked could she warm it. I was met with no it would burn up the icing. I then asked that my phone be scanned for points. I am told they did not do that and it should have been done by the person that took my order. I said that she advised you would do it. She walks away. Finally, lady returns back and scans my phone. Service could have been better. I almost left with no points tracked if I had not advised what I was told. I still however left with a freezing cold pound cake. The employee did not provide what I asked for and that was for a warmd cake. Instead she gave me the cake as she saw fit. Service was not customer friendly and not the standard I am usually met...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDine in is closed which is completely understandable however you canāt go through the drive thru on your bike with a mask. There are no options unless you have a car to get service..the guy at the window was kind of rude about it but I understand that it canāt be uncomfortable to discriminate people based on mode of transportation..however you are allowed to park your car and eat outside with no mask..this honestly makes no sense..tried contacting corporate to handle privately however received no response..really trying to support local Louisiana businesses during these strange times..this coffee house is located within biking distance of some of the biggest neighborhoods in the area..I just donāt understand the reasoning..either allow bikes to be served or close outdoor dining table
In Louisiana, bicycles are vehicles according to the statute that defines vehicles. A person riding a bicycle has all of the rights and duties of the driver of a vehicle as provided in Title 32 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes, except as to those provisions which by their nature can have no application.
