Beignets and More in Chalmette is a culinary masterpiece blending Vietnamese cuisine with New Orleans flair. Situated in the heart of St. Bernard Parish, this gem offers a menu that's a fusion of vibrant flavors and regional favorites, and great service!
From bánh mì to Korean BBQ Short-rib rice plates, every dish at Beignets and More is a symphony of taste sensations. The pho is aromatic and soul-warming, and (though this may be a bit controversial) the mini beignets are legendary, light, fluffy, dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, and may be the best in the greater New Orleans area.
The warm and welcoming ambiance adds to the dining experience, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a romantic dinner. Despite a challenging parking lot, every bump is worth it once you savor the delicious flavors of Beignets and More. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant is a must-visit destination that promises unforgettable...
Read moreYikes! One of the worst phos in or near New Orleans I've ever had...The broth didn't taste very good and there was not much meat and noodles as most places I've had it before. The service was really bad. We shared a pho and they didn't split it for us, my boyfriend spilled the pho all over himself and the table, they came and brought us a pair of scissors to cut the noodles.... and never cleaned up the table or the floor. My boyfriend had to move to the other side of the table and I almost slipped and felt when we got up to leave. We had to sit in the spill all dinner and use so many napkins to clean up what we could. They also charged us for the broth when we asked after it all spilled, it was so neglectful and unsympathetic. I came here once before and got the beignets and they had raw dough on the inside, I wanted to give them another chance. I...
Read moreI love this place!! Chalmette has a lot of hidden gems as far as restaurants and this is one of them. It’s my favorite spot for Vietnamese cuisine in the greater New Orleans area. I always get their Vietnamese egg rolls, Vietnamese iced coffee (or Boba tea) and either char-grilled pork vermicelli or rare beef (rare eye round) pho (their broth is top notch!). Sometimes I even get a char-grilled pork banh mi to go to eat for later. The vegetables are always super fresh and well portioned to their meals. The meal size is large enough to fill up on and still have leftovers. The food comes out quickly and the staff is always so friendly. They offer tofu options and other menu items for any vegetarians or vegans out there. I didn’t ask if they had vegetarian/vegan broth for their pho. Locals or visitors: Be sure to add it...
