The people who run this restaurant are rude, unprofessional, and unfit to be in the service industry. We ordered 3 entrees from this place to pick up, a place that we had gone to many times before, 1 one missing. Normally, that would be fine; however, when we went back for the missing order, we were called liars and told that the waitress "always checks the bags." We were offered no apology, no refund, no anything. We called the owner later and were told to never come back because we were crazy. I have worked in a restaurant before, and if a to go order was missing, we would always happily replace the order or offer a refund, this restaurant seems to not understand the basics of the food industry.
In the midst of the COVID-19 panic, we trying to offer a local restaurant business to help them survive the pandemic. We were instead given the worst restaurant experience of our lives. I encourage everyone here to never go to Gio's again and to instead frequent our area's other fine Italian establishments such as Vincent's, Filipo's, Sandro's, or any other one. This place does not deserve business or the community's help during these...
Read moreThe food is good, love the spaghetti sauce. Went there for the first time in March 2018. Loved the sauce went back 2 weeks later with my husband (he also liked it). Took my daughter there this past Thursday and she likes it too!
Buuut, on Thursday,we were there for lunch, when I asked the waitress if she could put a spoon of sauce over my leftovers (there wasn’t much sauce to begin with and that’s the best part) she said I’d have to pay for it. I’m like “well how much we talking for a spoon of sauce “$1.50!!!! Seriously for a spoon. They lost 3 fairly new customers for $1.50. I would have paid maybe.50 but I think it was really crappy. And the time bf when I was with my husband the night waitress had no problem putting sauce on my leftovers. Kinda sad bc I did like the food. I’m not sure why people r saying these people r so nice, the service was adequate but more abrupt...
Read moreGio's has a simple and worn exterior and a typical, cozy neighborhood restaurant interior, decorated with local sports teams items and Italian themes. There is obviously a loyal clientèle. The staff were friendly and efficient. Although we thought our food was good (lunch price Spaghetti & Meat Balls- actually just a single ball- and Chicken Parmesan, both with a small & tasty salad), we were not so happy about $1.50 each, for bottled water (now, a common & still irritating restaurant practice), and we both remarked that the portions, for the lunch price, were rather small. We should have ordered the dinner prices. Also, they brought six flavorful slices of...
