La Boilers — Restaurant in Louisiana

We arrived shortly after 10:15, after the 10:00 store opening. We went through the drive-through and placed an order for crawfish and corn. The lady at the window said the crawfish weren't ready. I replied that I thought the restaurant opened at 10:00? She said yes, but that's just what time we get started. Um, ok. All this place sells is seafood so...

We pulled to the driveway and after some time, a man came outside and told us the crawfish were ready. We went back through and she said the corn wouldn't be ready "until way, way later." I told her you might want to change your restaurant hours then! The crawfish were fresh and nice size, but were just way too salty. When they're that salty you can't really taste the crawfish, you just taste salt.

Our credit card was charged a 3% "credit card fee". What a crock.

Disappointing...

Ordered a few sausage links yesterday. Was charged $5 PER sausage link. Didn't even realize it until this morning cause well honestly I ain't the brightest. But that's far overpriced. They're good as hell. But I could likely use the same ingredients and still make decent profit at $2.50 each. All I see here is good food but greater greed. Greed over loyalty... See how much longer that lasts in today's economy.

This store really needs to reevaluate cost over profit and consider taking a little less profit for the sake of staying in business. Profit is what keeps it going but these folks are making 10x profit at these prices. Way too much...

Love, Love, Love!! This place seems to never run out of crawfish in my experience. They are quick and the boil mixture is nearly perfect every time… The corn’s spicy taste varies, but that’s not a deal breaker for us. The crawfish are various sizes but we always get some “big ones” with good claws. The shrimp are great as well. No complaints- and if there is something wrong, they are courteous and quick to remedy. They triple pack everything in bags…. which has never leaked… and helps keep the crawfish warm until we get home.
