Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

June 23, 2024: Visited this location around 9pm, noticed it was semi-busy. I pulled into a stall and placed mobile order for a Cranberry Limede. When the app asked for a stall #, the number was obscured by ads on the screen, so I pressed the red button. After waiting a while, the car hop came on and immediately started rambling off everything they didn't have (most of the menu AND ALL CARBONATED DRINKS). To which I expressed I had placed a mobile order and attempted to confirm with the young lady that for sure my order would not be completed. She became slightly annoyed with me saying " That's what I just said, we don't have CO2, you want to cancel it?"

I said I want it to be canceled. She neither confirmed the cancelation nor expressed a refund would be issued. Just stopped talking. I sat and waited to see if she would come back on. Never canceled the order, and I never got a refund. So I paid for a product i never received. Will NOT be returning to this location.

It is rare that I post reviews online but I have rarely received such slow & bad service. I stopped in for a quick bite on a Sunday morning around 11:00 am and after ordering, I waiting for 25-30 minutes when the order finally arrived. I ordered a breakfast burrito combo meal and pretzel twist. However, what arrived was not only incorrect but cold. I received not one but two burritos, the sauce for the pretzel twist but not the twist itself, and no onion rings. I took the order back inside and complained. The young lady took my bag and ultimately replaced it with another bag with one burrito and one pretzel twist (this time with no sauce) and still no onion rings - she stated they were not ready yet but she would bring them out when they were ready - remember I had already waiting 25-30 minutes for my initial order to come out. After returning to my car and waiting an additional 5 minutes, I left without waiting any additional time for my onion rings. There were about 10-15 cars in the stalls...

This has been the worst sonic I've been too... I ordered what was supposed to be a "Super sonic breakfast burrito" shown in the first and second pic and a sausage burrito for my daughter,shown in the third pic... I would be embarrassed to serve this to my customers... They need to change the name "Super sonic breakfast burrito" to "Super small breakfast burrito"! This visit was on may 14th... I did go on may 7th also with with the same bad experience, with not only a very small amount of food in the burrito, they did not add hash browns inside the burrito, they brought four packs of ketchup in place of salsa which I ask for... you might be asking yourself why did I go back even with the bad experience the prior weekend well it was because my car hop Thomas was so nice and friendly I decided to try again but that was a mistake... I don't see myself ever going back to this Sonic and I will be sure to tell friends and family to avoid this one...
