O.E.C. Japanese Express — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

My husband and I have eaten from this place about four times. The first 3 times the food was ok, but on the fourth time around I got jacked. I ordered the shrimp and snow crab seafood platter and was highly disappointed. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN!! When I got home I discovered that I was only given 6 boiled shrimp and 4 small crab legs! I called the restaurant immediately to see if they would correct their mistake, sadly enough they did NOT! The lady cashier at the front was rude and very nervous. I asked her if they would fix the food and she told me that I should just come in for a refund. All I can say is please check your plates before leaving this place and driving all the way home. But now that I think about it they do always seem to have the orders bagged and tied up super tight. I came to this OEC an hour before close on a Sunday, usually not the best time for any restaurant around here, but OEC knocked it out of the park. Everything was gas, i got the General Tso meal, a few egg rolls, and my gf had the chicken and steak hibachi dinner. All of our food tasted fresh and the portions were gigantic. This isn’t one of those Chengs/Soji esque places where you’re going for bleeding edge cuisine, its more of a hole in the wall style that serves cheap, good food at great portion sizes. This was our first visit to Japanese Express. We decided to dine in. The place was very clean and inviting. We ordered the Sesame chicken dinner and the General Tso dinner. The lady who took our order was very pleasant and helpful. We received our food between 5 and 10 minutes. It was hot and fresh! Very delicious! We enjoyed it immensely! We will return again!
