My family had a reunion here on March 9th for my mother’s 95th birthday. We had a room in the back. We just served ourselves at the regular buffet like all the other customers. The food was very good. There is an excellent selection. They have sushi, a salad bar, traditional American favorites including Mexican choices, seafood, and of course, a large selection of very tasty chinese food. They had both egg rolls and spring rolls, which I enjoy. I would have given 5 stars, except that for a party our size, which we had made reservations for, over a month in advance, they had no designated staff member to bring drinks or take away plates. Consequently, there were stacks of plates on every table, making it hard to eat, and we had nothing to drink at all for most of the meal. I finally went out and found a waiter and he brought a refill for just my husband and myself. Then when the check came, they added a suggested tip greater than 20% for this lunchtime buffet with very little staff interaction. Photos taken after the staff were called to please clean the plates away for the cake cutting.

No longer just dim sum, Panda King Buffet and hot pot reopened with a new twist. Hot Pot is now AYCE for $29.99 per person and includes the full buffet as well. I wouldn't reccomend filling up on the buffet but its nice to have hot apps and dessert options. Overall a comfy ayce hot pot experience on the westbank with a large selection of seafoods, meats, non-meats, and veggies. I wish there were more options to the sauce bar, and they were missing staples like vinegars, sesame oil, sugar, oyster sauce, liquid amino, sesame seeds, and peanuts that other hot pot places normally have. I'm happy they're back open and look forward to what they have to offer! Protip: use the soup bowls at the buffet to make your sauces for hot pot. The regular sauce dishes are a little small and hard to dip in. You can also ask for more broth!

OMG legit dim sum. Haven't had anything even approximating this outside of the places I've been to in Chicago's Chinatown. But this is a test of self control. We got there early and when they started rolling out the carts it was almost overwhelming. Being 1 of only 2 tables at the time, we were suddenly bombarded with a line of carts with way too much food that all looked way too good. We kept it to about 6 dishes and had enough to take home. Everything we tried was good, and so many options. I couldn't tell you how much the individual dishes cost, but we pigged out and paid $20/person. Obviously the more or higher end the dishes, the more you'll pay. The buffet is next door if that's what you want. As is dim sum is weekend only(like most places), and worth the trip to the west bank.

The BEST Honey Walnut Shrimp I have ever tasted! I’ve had Panda Express’s but I know why this place is called Panda King. First of all the shrimp are huge!! It took me two days to eat my to go order. The tender shrimp are prepared like tempura doused in a buttery honey coconut milk sauce. They’re sprinkled with crunchy sweet walnuts that are sprinkled with sesame seeds over a bed of firm broccoli cooked Al dente. It’s served with rice too which I like to marinate in the sauce. It’s New Orleans, so you know it’s fresh seafood and never frozen.

Beautiful place, best Chinese food I've had in a long time. Excellent service. No buffet but the menu food is delicious and well priced. Ok 5 stars when you could order from the menu. They now only do buffet and it's lackluster. Food on display is not nearly as good and most of the things I like are not on the buffet. I won't be back even though it WAS one of my favorite places. Oh....and I paid for a soda and asked for more in a go cup. Another $2.25 for a refill? NOPE. Buffet and new policies have lost them a customer.

Have a lot of options for dim sum, but the dishes that are served on the white plates are never hot. They need to figure out a way to make sure the food stays warm enough till it gets passed to the table. Other than that, it’s not that bad! Service is pretty good, and the push carts come around often. My favorite dim sum options are the pork hock, shumai, roasted pork, roasted duck, and Chinese broccoli Highly suggest coming around 11 am on Sundays to beat the crowd!
