Pei Wei Asian Express — Restaurant in Louisiana

Went to the new Lakeside Mall location. Let's just say I am over it. The food was ok. It's like the frozen food in the grocery store freezer. But that was the best part of my experience. Unfortunately, the Asian workers seem to like serving only certain races of people. The lady before me was Asian. She was served right away (technically I arrived before her but b/c it was new to me I allowed her to go ahead). After she was served, I walked up only to stand there idly for a full five minutes while the worker grabbed a towel and wiped a clean counter several times, went into the back into the kitchen to do nothing but chat in her native language, came back out again to still not make the order. The line grew from just me to like 6 more people. It wasn't until the line was obviously growing way too long that she finally served the subpar food in the skimpiest way possible. I will not eat there again. They have lost a future customer. Wish it could get less stars but the food...

I’m highly upset I went to the lakeside mall location in Metairie,La and purchased an egg roll. To my surprise when I got back to work to eat my egg roll the texture felt weird so I look at the inside and it was completely raw . The chicken on the inside was not cooked not even a little bit. I was highly upset and went to get a refund from Yoseline that is what the cashier told me her name was. I also suggested that they should throw out the egg rolls and requested a manager . She told me nobody was on duty and I’m sure that was a lie and she also said that she just got them to fry the egg rolls longer . It’s so sad how she carelessly handle this situation people can really get salmonella from uncooked chicken and end up hospitalized! This isn’t acceptable at all !!! She just kept serving it like it was okay ! So shameful! I won’t be back ! That places needs to be properly manager and observed there is absolutely no way this...

I used to love eating at this place but they’re too busy worrying about portion control to give you fresh food. My chicken is way overcooked it’s crunchy and old and so are the noodles not fresh at all and very greasy. The lady preparing my plate, deliberately scooped the old chicken from the bottom of the pan instead of the fresh chicken on top to serve me and had an attitude when I asked her about it and didn’t change it out. I exchanged the same concern with the cashier, she also ignored me. It was too late to cancel and get into another line to get something else I had to go.
