Jefferson Orleans South — Attraction in Metairie

The last time I received such excellent service from a Specialty Hall was at my wedding in 1981. And that person providing the service was a long time family friend of my new bride.

But this time I was introduced as the DJ for the event. And was provided Excellent Service in accommodating my schedule for setting up. And anything I needed. Disclaimer: I am associated with VFW Post 3267 which operates a Hall as well. We are a no frills rental. We do not try to compete with Halls of Jefferson Orleans South quality as that is not the reason for our hall or purpose. We only offer it to the public as not everyone can afford the “professional space” they offer.

Then at the event I received excellent service from the entire staff as well. The young servers were refreshingly polite and professional.

The food from the appetizer to the two main selections were very tasty. Fresh, and hot! Served by Friendly but professional servers and or Chefs.

While I don't drink, the bar seemed to be keeping everyone who did sufficiently happy.

Highly Recommend for any special occasion. TJ will treat you better than family. You may find fancier, but you won't find...

I will definitely recommend this venue for all events. The attention we recieved was beyond superb! When the owner is there to personally serve you and your party speaks volumes of how they handle business. We actually had a major hiccup on our part because I didn't have an accurate head count and we ended up with 55 more guest then what I originally booked for. Mr. TJ and his crew sprung into action! They were able to deliver the extra 55 plates without compromising the quality, portion, taste or presentation of the food. A huge thank you to his wife who behind the scenes also made my night go without a hitch. The servers were very attentive to everyone. The space is beautiful! Very elegant and clean. I used this place a few weeks ago for a repass of my Father's funeral. I must say TJ and his staff went above and beyond. I recommend Jefferson Orleans South to any one needing a hall for an event. The place is simply beautiful, The staff is awesome, and the owner is very committed to his business. Using Jefferson Orleans South is the best decision I made during such a devastating time.
