I hate to leave such an awful review but today was the worst experience I have ever had with Pizza Hut. I had placed an order online at 5:35 anticipating having an easy dinner with family. Our order was expected to arrive at 6:20. It arrived at 6:45....and not what we ordered.
I immediately called the store and inquired about our order. We were informed it would be another hour and a half later. I wasn't thinking and said that it would be fine because I was really wanting the convenience of not cooking or getting out of the house...and I could imagine tasting the stuffed crust pizza every minute that passed by.
An hour after waiting, I realized that I shouldn't have to pay for an order while waiting for nearly three hours. So, I call the store again. They let me know that the driver left twenty minutes ago and should be arriving any moment now. I'm happy about this, but I'm still not thinking it's fair that I'm still paying for this (incredibly late) service. So, I ask for a refund. I'm instantly given a refund and assured that we can enjoy both of our pizzas this evening. Yay, happy camper.
But, another hour later, we're still waiting on our pizza. It's 9 pm now and we haven't eaten dinner. Pizza Hut, can you please try harder to please...
Read more3rd negative experience in less than 9 months. The past two online orders were place abc I was called back immediately from the store and told that they didn’t have any drivers. Seriously???? Who owns and/or manages this franchise??? Do they have any business management experience? This is freaking ridiculous! Granted, Baton Rouge and Louisiana for that matter, has the worst customer Service in general when it comes to fast food restaurants.
I consistently received excellent customer service when I lived in California from illegal aliens who barely spoke English. At least they showed up to work and performed the duties they were paid to do.
——Original Review—— They tell you 20 to 30 minutes, or 30 to 40 minutes. An hour later, you call, you’re on hold for another 10 to 15 minutes to find out that your order hasn’t even been started being made yet. What is wrong with this location? I placed a delivery order for a large pizza at 9PM, as the website states they deliver until 10PM. I receive a call 15 minutes later to tell me they don’t have anyone to deliver, that I have to come pick up my pizza because they can’t refund me through the phone. I leave, get to the restaurant at 9:28PM (my food was scheduled to be ready at 9:13). Amy, who was typing something into the computer, rushes to the back without a word and I see her begin making my pizza. Amy was not wearing gloves and did not wash her hands before grabbing the toppings with her bare hands. The keyboard she was using was VERY DISGUSTING and I did not want her touching my food, so I ask her to stop and give me a refund. She started typing on the computer for a bit (still hasn’t washed her hands) and then gets on her phone to call someone and ask how to do a refund while I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes.
