Terrible experience at this location. Placed an order using the app at about 11pm (they close at midnight) and then drove there. I arrived and pulled into the left drive-through lane (which is used for online order pickup), and sat there for 5 minutes with no one coming to the window. Finally, after seeing another vehicle pull into the other lane and then promptly drive off, I backed up and pulled up to the speaker in that lane.
"The system's down" is what she told me. The system is down? I explained that I just placed – and paid for – an order in the app. She then slipped up and said, "yeah, I see your order." Ah, so the "system" ISN'T "down" after all. If you see my order, I asked, why can't you make it, especially since I've already been charged? Suddenly the story changes to, "we're out of meat... you gonna have to call and get a refund."
So, she lied about the system being down, and I have no reason to believe she was being truthful about being out of meat as well... probably just a case of maybe it being a slow night, and the workers didn't feel like staying a minute past closing time, so they simply shut down early, cleaned up, then sat in the back and played on their phones for the next hour or so.
Not only did this waste my time in placing the order, driving there, then sitting unacknowledged in the drive through line as I waited for my food, I now also have to try to figure out how to pursue a refund. I'm going to be reluctant to order through the app from now on, for fear of this happening again, and will probably just avoid Rally's altogether because of...
Read moreOn Veterans My grandmother and I have been going to this Rally's for years. Today we went to get a swirl ice cream classic cone. First, they try to charge us for 2 cones. When we, politely, let them know that we only ordered one, they acquired a horrible attitude. When they came out with the cone, it was a vanilla cone. Clearly there is a differene between a vanilla cone and a swirl cone. When my grandmother went to say something the lady asked if there was a problem in a very rude, condescending tone of voice. When she was informed that we ordered a swirl cone, she said it was OUR fault because we ordered 2 cones and canceled one. Now, if you read the beginning of my review, you can see it clearly states that we only ordered 1 cone. So now we are dealing with attitudes and being accused of something that was NOT our fault. It was, in fact, their mistake. Not ours. My grandmother then informed her that we wanted a swirl cone. At that moment, the lady, in a rude tone of voice, said have a nice night, slammed the window, and walked off when she saw my grandmother was trying to get her attention. Now, I'm not usually one to complain, but that made my grandmother upset. I DO NOT take kindly to people upsetting my grandmother. I have to review here because the lady didn't even give us a receipt. Believe me when I say that I WILL be following up on this matter. That lady has messed with the WRONG girl. Read moreThe king of upselling! Back again 11 months later! Ordered a chicken bite box and she informed me only the large (1/2lb) was available. Nice of them to let me know, I declined.
I asked for 2 all Americans ($1.49/each). She suggested I try the 2 for $4 menu. I said no thanks, I'd like 2 all Americans. She said pull forward to the window. After leaving, I discovered she charged me for 2 Rally burgers off the 2 for $4 menu!!
Go ahead and try upselling, but if I decline and you charge me anyway that's disrespectful and dishonest. Only $1 but disappointing.
Doesn't look like they've come very far in 11 months in terms of customer service.

They upsell everything! Ordered a chicken bite box and they charged for the 1/2lb not the regular. Asked for an all American, they said we don't have the meat for that how about a Big Buford? I said no thanks cancel my order. They said just kidding we can make an all American.
