Vinnie's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Louisiana

We go here occasionally to eat and shoot some pool. Tonight considering I have watched my mom and dad and all their close friends shoot on dart teams we decided to draw few around. Its been years since I played with family and friends .. well for one the girl was no help when I tried to tell her the boards are not only used n warp they also have been wet. So needless to say the darts didn't stick even after me trying to sharing the tips.. asked for another pair to see if they were as dull n she became defensive. Now i am aware its used community darts n dart board right... but... when a customer ask who is the manager n u walk away to feel the other tips and then literally look me in the face and say if u don't bring the other pair back i CANT LET YOU EVEN SEE ANOTHER PAIR... come on .. like we were out to enjoy a date night and we left all because one CHILD LIKE FIGURE WHO IS JUST THERE FOR A PAY CHECK DECIDED TO BE A JUDGEMENTAL ASSHOLE & DISRESPECTFUL by all means 5 chicks working a bar on a SUNDAY I'm actually surprised they are still open. Hey WHO am I to judge tho I happen to like the food but not the help. The two girls waitijng tables .. now that was two people who wanted n needed their job not just for mommy and daddy to take care of them. Guess we wasn't all raised the same .. 35 yrs later I am still respectable and well mannered.. these little people need to get it together.. ruining just good fun. Fyi even played ten bucks in jukebox just to leave because not only was she no help she walked away twice in mid convo of trying to explain an issue and then got an attitude.. well kick rocks that's bad business.. lost a customer... how many can u afford to loose if we are ur main reason for staying...

Not a lot of seafood open past 7pm in the Westbank so, after going to one "open till 8pm" closed at 6:30pm. And another kitchen closed at 7pm. I'm telling myself what am I going to have. For dinner at 8:15p. Try Vinnie's. It's a sports bar. It's gonna be loud and obnoxious. Most tvs were tuned to football, and 2 tvs tuned to women's tennis. However, the sound system has several blown speakers. Chris Collingsworth through a tweeter is like a mosquito buzzing your ear. As for the staff, very good. Never hovered, good upselling, menu knowledge and very attentive. Now, the Food. Ordered the Double Bogey Fries and a Jalapeño Belly Buster Burger. The bogey waffle fries were crispy till the last bite. Menu descriptions are correct. The Jalapeño sauce on them was a nice heat pinch. Can appetize 4 people. The Burger had good flavor. I asked for medium well, expected medium. They cooked it to medium well, and after resting, it was just under well. Despite the little hiccup. It was a tasty burger, beef tasted of beef, not tears. The food was superb, excellent service for the waitress I had was trista for a name to ask for if you don't know this establishment. They have sports on the tv's their, video poker, three pool tables, clean bar, the only thing if your not a smoker and hate you hate cigarette smoke then please still go and try their food. Live karaoke on Wednesday nights, I'm just a local patron so this isn't advertised to lie. They have all ranges of ages from 21-65+, they always check I.d.'s so this place is legit and a still standing bar. Beautiful woman that work their. Quick police respond time or they would have one on or off duty to protect bar. Its mixed with a lot of military and civilians patrons also. There is more so if you want to relax and/or hungry and if you want to grab a bite to eat and you want it reasonably priced and excellent taste quality then come here. Drinks are also inexpensive compared to other bars.
