Waffle House — Restaurant in Louisiana

I sat at the counter to grab a quick bite. I am informed my server, Erin/Emily, that I would be dining in, but I also needed a to-go order. I order two All Star breakfast plates, but one to-go. She asks if I want the waffles that come with it. I asked if I could substitute the waffle for something else and she said no. So I just opted to get the waffles since it really didn't make a difference. I don't understand why she would ask whether I wanted the waffles or not if I could not substitute them for anything else. It's the same price whether you get them or not which is silly. I placed my order and she brought out parts of the to-go order on plates and informed me that I could pack them myself. Okay fine. I pack the to-go order myself. She brings me coffee but does not offer cream. She brings out waffles but does not give butter or syrup. First off when we went in tge place smelled like old dish towels full of mold. The tables were dirty and half cleaned. So what ever. We should have left but we stayed. The waitress got the dressing wrong for the salad which was old and brown and wilted. It looked so nasty. We had to wait for our ticket for 5 min after our food was done. Keep in mind we were the only people in there which now i know why. The casher was on her phone and out side smoking talking loud and hell about getting payed wednesday instead of counting her money. So the waitress who couldnt remember to bring our right order out informed us that she had to count her drawer. Which should have been done when she got it instead of smoking andmd talking about pay day. Then they had 2 roaches crawl across the floor and under the table and my bf had to squash one running under our table. Then as we are leaving there was hundreds of ants crowling into the resturant. This is a restaurant my husband and I normally come to for late night snacks and breakfast. Most nights we're able to get a good meal and some time depending upon the cook it's trash.... but this review isn't about the food, it's about how the cooks will close the whole restaurant down and this establishment is a 24hr / 7 days a week type of business. This is the second time this has happened to our date mornings between my husband and I.... the fact that we were able to see the cook and the server flagging with their hands no service. While walking back and forth is outrageous.... not even answering the phone is also extremely questionable to why are yall even here if coming work wasn't on the table but getting paid for it was.??? Restaurant door locked, no one came to even give reason for the closing of business. JUST DOWN RIGHT RUDE...
