Wingstop — Restaurant in Louisiana

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Wingstop in Metairie during my visit at 11:30 PM. Despite the posted closing time of midnight, I was informed by an employee named Aran that they were only accepting online orders. I complied and attempted to place an order online, but was still refused service for no valid reason, even though my request was a simple 8-piece meal that would have taken no more than 12 minutes to prepare.

When I asked for the employee’s name to clarify the situation with corporate, Aran refused to identify herself or speak to me directly. Another staff member later stepped up and not only confirmed her name “Aran” but also disclosed that this behavior has occurred repeatedly with other customers. I was further informed that corporate policy clearly requires orders to be fulfilled during operating hours, which raises a serious concern about honesty and integrity at this location.

It is deeply disappointing to experience such unprofessionalism, especially in a hospitality-driven city like New Orleans, where late-night establishments often serve working professionals coming off late shifts. It is unacceptable for staff to lie to customers and deny service without justification.

I urge Wingstop management to take immediate action by addressing this ongoing issue and ensuring their staff upholds the standards of service expected from the brand. This community deserves far better treatment...

A rating of 1 star is too generous. The 1 star is for the carbinated drink that helped to soothe my stomach after bravely attempting to take one bite of this meal. I stopped at this location this week. It was empty. Wait time for one combo order took almost 30 minutes. Employees stood at the register speaking in a foreign language while I waited. A cook stood by the sink on his cell phone and packed a door dash order without washing his hands and did not have on gloves. I watched as the others prepared my order. When I got home, fries were greasy, soggy and burned on the ends and smelled of old oil. Wings smelled horribly of old rancid bad oil. I attempted to eat one and immediately felt sick and vomited. Food from Wingstop is amazing but I have a reason of giving 3 stars. DoorDash delivered my food with no problems until I looked in my bag. I was missing fried corn side that was ordered with my 8pc. I contacted my DoorDasher and he said this has been an ongoing problem. He confirmed with me that he asked the female associate to check the bag to make sure everything is there but he said she smiled and said everything is there but didn't open the bag to check. Wingstop needs to do better and have the associate check the order when asked before DoorDasher leaves so nothing is missing...
