A group of 8 of my girl friends drove from hours away to have a fun sit down dinner here together. I have to start by saying the food was phenomenal, but the rest of our experience not so much. We had a reservation for 6:15 PM made at least two months in advance, when we arrived for our reservation, we were asked by the hostess to “please be done by 7:45” Weird right? Well it doesn’t end there, our drinks took at least 20 minutes to come out & then the food another 30 minutes. (They were busy so I get the long wait time) Towards the end of our meal , I proceeded to order another Martini. The waitress told me I could order it, but it was going to be brought out in a plastic cup because the other party was here for the table. Mind you, there’s 7 other people still eating & drinking at the table. She brings the MARTINI out in a plastic cup like she said & then tells us the other party is here so we need to get up. A few of the girls went to the restroom before we went to leave, (they only had one working restroom at the time) in the meantime, they sent over TWO other employees a different times telling us that we needed to get up because the next party was here. NEVER in my life have I been RUSHED out of dinner reservation while still ordering things to the table. Our bill was not small by any means, and we would’ve spent a good amount of more money there hadn’t we been rudely kicked out of our reservation. Again food, was great, but this situation will be enough for me and my friends to never return to an establishment that treats paying customers...

Too loud and too crowded. Not much seating and the little they have is quite close, you have to yell or lean over table to hear the other person speak, we heard most of the other tables conversations as they were speaking loudly over the music. The prices were good but we didn't like the fact that our sushi rolls were room temp, we ordered fresh salmon and California roll which were both okay taste wise. The chicken rice was okay, had chunks of white rice though. The wait was long and we were okay with that except for the fact that there's no space to do so and we pretty much stood in the way as others coming in as well as the staff, all seemed to jump for the opportunity to sit at the bar when seats became available while waiting (some that even came after us). We eventually took the same opportunity and the bartender got upset when we left because the host came to get us for a table although all he had done after almost 15 min of us sitting there was pour water, hadn't taken a drink order or appetizer order, he was quite busy with other guests and speaking to his "regulars" so we chose to sit at the table instead of dealing with that and he loudly spoke about his dislike of "people doing that" to other guests at the bar as we were getting up and leaving. Once at the table our waitress was amazing and the food came...

Really bad experience-So my husband and I live in New Orleans and were in Metairie all evening shopping. It was 9:15 we were starving and craving sushi, we usually just get take out. But decided why not let’s treat ourselves, we NEVER go out to eat. We go into the restaurant sit down, server takes our drink order, I ordered one of their speciality cocktails. Everything was a going great, until the manger on duty, Tori, comes up to our table and says, I’m sorry but we cannot serve you any alcoholic drinks and accuses me of being too intoxicated to order a drink?!? I was baffled bc I had not had anything to drink all day. She stated that I was walking funny. And automatically assumed that I’m intoxicated?!? Totally embarrassing, bc I have a medical condition that makes me lean to my left side. It’s gotten worse in the last few years, and I never go out bc I’m too self conscious about it. And this is exactly why. We decided to leave bc I was so mortified andI started crying. All I can say is wow, I’ve never felt so humiliated. That manager does not need to be working with the public if she can’t tell the difference between someone who is intoxicated and someone who has a medical condition. My husband is furious. It totally...

First time diners at this location and we really enjoyed it! We went on a Wednesday around 6pm and first thing we noticed were the cars overflowed onto an open lot next door. Seated at the sushi bar (prefer) and the chef was funny and lively, which matched the ambience and music of the place. Our waitress Tori was so sweet and very attentive! The food was fresh and flavorful and not too bad of a wait, nor was it too crowded. I do agree the price point for the size of the roll is a bit high, but you're paying for the experience as well as the food. Wouldn't be a weekly spot, but definitely a great switch up from your regular hum drum dining spot. The garlic salmon roll was rich and flavorful, scallops seasoned very well, and the tempura ice cream was magical!

Very happy at the fact that this place stays open till 11pm. The waitress was very nice and attentive! The calamari was very tastey and good, would definitely order again, something I order at any and every restaurant that sells it. I took 1 star away cuz I spent $80 on sushi, something I've never thought i could do (yes it was 2 of us but never before have I even come close to that amount). The sushi did taste good but was not anything extravagant for me to say it was worth $80. And the dessert, I didn't know at all what it was but wanted to taste something new, I was left very disappointed with the presentation and the flavor it being some sort of seaweed wrapped icecream.

The food was delicious. Like REALLY good. Server was very friendly. Just a heads up, it took more than an hour between ordering and getting our sushi. Pre-covid, I would have complained, but it's a different world now. Food was worth the wait and there's a good selection of beers/sake. Probably not the best place to go on a busy Friday night if you're in a hurry. But the perfect place to go if you have some time and interesting ppl to take to.
