Unagi & Sushi — Restaurant in Louisiana

I have so much to say about this amazing resturant. It's the first sushi resturant I've ever eaten at when I was about 6 years old, and I'm now 17 years old. Going here after school was amazing, and, even though I have now moved to the Northshore, I still come here all of the time. The food is amazing, and I've never had something I didn't like. The service is absolutely incredible and its so amazing being remembered by the staff and how they know what you want to order (lol). The presentation of the food is always beautiful from the sauce on the sushi roll to the orchids displayed on your plate or in your to-go box. I will never stop going to this resturant because of how amazing it is and how the quality of everything in the resturant has never deteriorated. It only gets better. I usually try something new every now and then, depending on my mood for the day, but everytime I order, I always get a Rock n' Roll sushi roll. This roll is always amazing and hits the spot. Beautiful presentaion of the food. Delicious. Excellent value. Returned several times since last February (2021). Food is consistently good. Beautiful presentation. Great portion size for the money. Why this place is not packed on Saturdays for lunch (before4pm), I do not know. The lunch specials are a great value & they are available on Saturdays. The bento boxes are huge and only $10. These dinners come with a delicious noodle salad and miso soup. Plus the box itself is full of delicious food. Our sushi rolls were very fresh & a great value also. There is also hibachi available for a reasonable price during lunch. Service was excellent! This is definitely a hidden gem and our family's "go to" place for great quality Japanese food. At first, service was a tad slow. There was a few minutes of idling there before we were told to sit. The wait was completely understandable, as it was right after what I presume to be a lunch rush. After a moment, we got our menus. The waitress was very patient and kind, and I appreciated that very much. Our food came pretty quickly, my sister having gotten chicken yakisoba, and I the california roll. It was very fresh, hot, and the presentation was perfect. The atmosphere was generally very relaxed, and happy. I don't rate places very often, but I had to rate this place, as it's one of the nicest places I've been to.
