SHORT VERSION: Avoid using the QR code system. Waitress incredibly pushy and unprofessional; harassed me about a glitch in the system. LONG VERSION: Food was overpriced and mediocre, typical for an airport. The real issue would be the service: for patrons dining in, they pressure you into using a glitchy website [via QR code], claiming that the front register is for takeout only. That's mildly annoying, but worse is that the website glitched to where my boyfriend thought the payment had gone through and evidently hadn't. My boyfriend boarded his plane, and I walked to my own gate to wait, and there the waitress, Galina, found me and harassed me about the unpaid check. Thankfully my boyfriend still had his phone on and could re do the transaction (unfortunately the website didn't allow him to take away her tip). When I pointed out that if she would have just let him pay at the register as he'd originally asked, we could have avoided the whole issue in the first place, she got very huffy. Unfortunately the online orders could not be placed so we sat, and sat and finally the bar tender walked by and said we'd have a waiter who would come take our orders. Again we waited and no one came by to take our order so we got up to order at the to-go register. The lady said they were out of pizza sauce so they couldn't make any pizzas with pizza sauce as a base. I decided to just get a pizza with BBQ as a base instead but was then told the oven was down and they couldn't take any orders at the moment other than drinks. When we gathered our luggage to walk away from the area they served someone cheese bread with marinara sauce. Since they were out of pizza sauce and the oven was non operational I'll go ahead and assume magically produced this out of thin air?! The individuals who work here are extremely rude. Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. My group and I sat down to order but didn't see any servers. We scanned a QR code to order and then went to the To-Go area, thinking we could order there. When the pizza maker asked if we were dining in, we said yes, and he told us to wait for a server. A server told us it was okay, and the cashier took our order.
When our food was ready, the cashier placed it in a To-Go box and left it on our table. We asked the server for plates, and she got upset, saying we ordered to-go even though we clearly stated we were dining in. She eventually gave us small plates but acted rudely.
To add to our dismay, one of the pizza slices had a plastic piece within it. This could have been a major hazard for us eating the meal.
We felt there was no customer service and even sensed some racism in the way we were treated. I hope others don’t experience this...
